So far out of all the sunscreens I have tried (and there are a few) this is my HG sunscreen. Contains 19% zinc.
Pros:
Feel 100% confident my skin is protected if I am caught in the sun.
No irritation from using product.
Tube lasts quite a while.
Acne scras are fading a lot faster since I switched to this brand.
Very suitable during peels when skin is light sensitive.
Cons:
Not a suncreen you can rub in so I need to wait at least 10 mins for this to soak in before I can apply makeup.
It is very thick.
There is a "slight" white cast but that doesn't bother me as the protection is far far more important.
Any other users out there? you input please? |

Hi Iaimei, I bought mine from a department store. The bottle is at home so I just went to DrLewinn.com and they have a list of the key ingredients (so there will be other indredients):
Zinc Oxide 19%, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf, Hydrolysed Soy Protein |

| Oh gosh sorry I live in NZ and the name of the department store is Farmers but you can also now get this at several pharmacy's. |

Dips, are you still liking this? I just ordered a tube (and got robbed on the shipping!  ), keeping my fingers crossed! |

Hi Vonstella,
Sorry for the late response - been away. Yes I am loving this sunscreen - definitely found what I would call my HG sunscreen. Hope you get refunded on the shipping? Because its an Australian Brand it is relatively easy to find in NZ and although slightly on the expensive side not too bad for what it does. Mind you I would pay the price to have it shipped to me if I had to - it has been a lifesaver for my hyper/pigmentation. Hope you like it. Dips |
