since discovering this forum, i too have read with interest the success many have had with emu oil. however, as a vegetarian, it's not an option for me. (i'm not one of those judgmental vegetarians, but i do try and buy as ethically as possible - something that can be quite tricky in the cosmetics industry.)

from what i've read here, it looks like it's helped people with a variety of skin concerns from rosacea to anti-aging. it really does seem to have some serious healing and moisturizing properties.

i'm sure others with experience will be able to offer a greater insight, but my advice is to make yourself a cup of tea and put aside an hour or so to search and read back through some of the old threads here on eds as the information is very interesting.

I think emu oil comes from the fat on the back of the emu bird, but hopefully someone can clarify that.

This is taken from Dremu Oil in the EDS site:
Quote:
Reduces wrinkles without needles
Light, odorless non pore clogging
World's most effective moisturizer
Penetrates deeply to reduce wrinkles
Absorbs immediately
Calms redness
Plumps up fine lines
Hastens healing
Soothes roughness
Rehydrates dry, chapped, skin

Rather then copy and paste all the information on this thread I found an excellent link. I know it answered many of my questions about Emu Oil. Hope this helps Smile
