Recieved a generous sample of this and after a week o using this, my hands are lovely and soft.
The cream is for severly dry skin and is quite thick. I do a lot of cooking that involves forever washing my hands and this leaves them with dry patches and looking generally workworn.
The handcream is good and leaves my hands feeling treated, it is quite heavy and also has a heavy scent.
What suprised me is how similar it is to one of Dove's handcreams, it smells so similar and feels exactly the same on so save your money on this one and buy the Dove instead for a fraction of the cost.
Oh and Dove smells better too.

I think it's this one:

Will try it next time.

I've used LRP's Lipikar baume on my hands and feet. I must say that it does smell awful if you have a sensitive nose like me, but it definitely does work. It's supposed to restores lipids in your skin (something like that) so your skin will be better able to retain moisture on its own!

My bf SWEARS by Lipikar baume for dry skin because he has ezcema. He uses their body wash too and says it makes his scalp less itchy. Personally, though I'd like to try Avene next because the cosmetician at the store I went to said it was comparable to LRP.

Kareberry,

Avene Trixera is comparable to LRP Lipikar Baume. My son has used both products and they work well to control his ezcema. Avene has a wash called Cold Cream cleansing gel for face and body my son has used. It works well like the LRP body wash. Try and get a sample or two first because it is more expensive. It does come in a very large bottle though. My son even uses it as his hand soap during the winter because his hands get so bad.

iaimei I think that was the Dove hand cream I was thinking of, the only difference is the cosistency of the Dove is thinner but it feels exactly the same on.
