Hi everyone! I am on a detox diet at the moment. Not to lose weight but to clear out the old system.
Its hard work I can tell you!
I did it a few years ago for a month and the results were amazing! Skin clear, all stomach complaints gone, full of energy (after a while )
I'm on day ten at the moment but am feeling rather tired so i need encouragement!! what are you experiences with it. Anyone tired it? |

Littlebo,
I do this alot and it does really help with overall health besides getting glowing skin & bright eyes.
You're probably just feeling tired because you're doing some deep cleaning. Can you take a green supplement like chlorella/spirulina or bluegreen algae..trace minerals really help too..or something that really alkalinizes your blood like miso.
Congratulations on making it to day 10!

Hello!
Well day ten was a nightmare! Nearly cracked. I was tired and moody and hungry all day long. Fruit, nuts and ricecakes didn't quite hit the spot. Went home and had an early night. Feel better today so far, (but its only 10am)
I am supposed to take multivits and kelp but I must admit I have forgotten for the last couple of days so that might be it! Thanks for the tip.
Will let add to this to let you know how I am getting on! |

Well Loopylori, that is the question!!
It supposed to be for a month but I'm just glad if I do two weeks, so I might stop after then.
The one I'm on isn't a really really harsh one like just fruit and water type thing!! Its got all the food groups but very limited choices, no salt on ANYTHING which is a killer and lots of fruit, veg, brown rice and fish. Its supposed to provide everything you need, and you have to eat everything on the list and drink gallons of water. Its supposed to get everything moving (if you know what I mean ) and detoxify you that way rather than limit your food intake.
You're not supposed to lose weight on it but i've lost 2lb!! yipee!!! |

Hey Littlebo
Just keep that image of you glowing and slim and it should get you through. I find that helps when I am running my last km in my weekly run.
Having said that, your will power must be applauded - I am not sure if I can last 1 day!
Keep it up

Hi everyone!
God what a weekend...temptations everywhere... especially when you have a bottomless pit of a boyfriend who devours everthing in sight...and is still lean!!! humph.
Still you will all be pleased that I prevailed!! Its really hot here in the UK at the moment so that helps a lot as you don't feel like eating too much anyway.
I have lost another lb!! yippee |

Hi there! I'm interested in trying your detox diet. May I know where to get the recipe for it?
Any other ones for a beginner like myself? I'm a energy-less 20s female ( Winter makes me feel like that!) and I'm looking for something to give me more energy, better skin and a svelte figure!
HELP please, thanks! |
