I don't know of an overnight miracle but if you are prepared to use a product for at least 12 months to see results then Remergent will get your skin back to a healthy condition. It is a simple routine, Barrier Repair followed by their SPF30 sunscreen in the AM and DNA Repair followed by Barrier Repair in the evening. If you have sunspots then also use Clarifying Concentrate on the spots. Microcirculation Therapy is good on the area under your eyes.

dksnf, I, for one, can't stand the smell of DMAE. It lingers and if it's humid, it lingers and lingers and lingers...

One further suggestion which I forgot to mention and may help you in the short term if you can afford it is Valmont ICCT. You use the course morning and night for one month. Does make difference to texture and firmness of the skin.

Yes, I think DMAE can solve your problems but it might be take a time at least 2 months.

it depends on where the slackness is. Fillers like radiesse which make nasal lines disappear, also filling in with sculptra or radiesse in hollow areas will make the skin look a little tighter.

Yes, I also thought DMAE was suppose to work on tightening. BTW I just received a sample of Skin Biology's new DMAE two time tightening product and there is no odor what so ever. I cannot say whether I like it or not because I only started using it a few days ago. Says it must be kept refrigerated to maintain the actives.

I started using AlphaDermaCE and their Mineral Prep 3.5 years ago. I was searching for a product to help the lose of elasticity after 20 lb. weight loss. Janson Beckett's products did a remarkable job firming my sagging face. Today my skin is firmer then 5 years ago. Janson Beckett's AlphaDerma has similar ingredients to Perricone at a fraction of the price.

Recently I added Skin Biology's Copper Peptides to my routine. I also like this active.

Winnie - I am over 55 and I believe I have read somewhere on this forum that you are also - I have areas on my face that have more severe sagging, such as my jowls, as opposed to my forehead area, will AlphaDerma tighten up the more severe areas also? I too have started with copper peptides and after 4 months have seen some improvement in my entire face but I would really like to concentrate on my jowls. I have also purchased the facial flex but have only been using it for one week so have not seen any difference yet. Any suggestions?

Yes, I believe that you will see a difference using Mineral Prep and AlphaDermaCE. Lets face is...nothing will make us look 30 again. Laughing
I had a facial two weeks ago (new facialist). I was thrilled that she told me that the collagen (firmness of my face) appeared of someone 13 years younger. OMG I was delighted. That being said, the firmness of my skin is better now than it was 5 years ago.

If you are using CP's do not use them the same time of day as AlphaDermaCE. ADCE has Vit. C. CP's will cancel out Vit. C (I highly recommend using Vit. C). I suggest you try JB products first. Either get the 5 day sample pack or "On The Go." I like EDS's offer as you can get Janson Beckett's C&C Free Shock with $100.00 purchase. I love C&C. It is a $50.00 value. I don't know how long this offer will last as it is more than generous.

For firmness you should be taking 1000 mgs of oral Vit. C daily and 1000 mgs. of MSM. Actually I found this out from a esthetician friend.

Anyhoo, I get so confused with all the products available! Right now CP's HA and Ultra emu are my staples, plus I use DMAE on eyelids. I'm afraid it will break me out if I use it on my face.
Winnie, I wanted to ask you about Facial Flex. Is this a worthwhile purchase? I want to really start trying to prevent sagging. I've had Facercise and Flexeffect for years and never used them because I'm lazy Embarassed
I should probably dig them out and dust them off. Anyone use these with success? Thanks all Smile Smile

Personally, I love the Facial Flex. It has been very kind to my jawline. It's easy to use, not to mention convenient. You can do it while on computer, driving or cleaning house. As of late I have not been faithful and it is starting to show. Sometimes I just get overwhelmed with all the lotions, potions and gadgets.

I purchased mine on QVC. I believe it was around $30.00 with two band weights. The Video IMHO is not necessary.

Do a search for Facial Flex on EDS. You will find mixed reviews.

Thanks Winnie, I think I will order it. Does it only work your jawline/neck? I just popped in my FlexEffect tape..scary! So much pulling on the skin. I may try the Facercise, I really don't know. I can never seem to stick to one thing!

The Facial Flex works the cheeks, jaw and neck. It does not work the eye area.

No, I don't do eye exercises. Day time I use: Janson Beckett's Mineral Prep, AlphaDermaCE, and C&C. Yes, a tad of each product goes on my eye area while applying to my face. Evenings I use Copper Peptides,Dremu Airbrush or another eye cream. Right now I am using a sample of Valmont Regenerating Eye Cream. The Valmont Eye Cream is to die for but extremely pricey. Sad

I have been using Ferox for approximately one month as a makeup base. I find it very firming .

dksnf68,
my mother went through a phase of cheeks drooping and eyelids dropping. Then, I bought her decleor stuff and it really worked it's magic. It's bit arduous to follow (with the oil + moisturiser routine) but it has definitely been worth it.

one quick fix which is good in general, you could try washing your face with really cold water once a day (say before going to bed and doing your night rituals). I read that Bruce Willis dips his face in ice cold water, which keeps his skin taut : - ).

Thanks for the suggestion, don't think I can use Decleor though, I had samples and it was very fragrant.

For rejuvenating the skin,Decleor's prolagene gel is great (for both face & body). It does not have a smell. You can add it to any moisturiser or body lotion you normally use. It plumps up your skin.

Hi!

I cannot attest to this personally, however over at the iceelements.com message board there are quite a few women who say that the Edelweiss serum is very helpful for this.. It is supposed to be cumulative and not a quick fix.

If you are interested in it at all I would recommend speaking with Shelly (the president of the company) in the Ask Shelly section of the forum... I also think that they have before and after pics posted on the site and while I am not inclined to believe every pic I see in the before and after world of beauty, I find Shelly and Frankie to be incredibly honest and I cannot imagine them fudging the pics.

Good luck and take care.
