I hope you can help me. I am an avid consumer or organic skin care products.
I`m familiar with the Eminence range but I am concerned they are not as natural as they claim to.
A friend of mine told me that, for example, the color of the Sweet red rose clenaser is way too strong to be considered natural. She told me she needed 3 full rinses ( besides previously removing with a wet cotton ball) to remove the product and she could still feel it on her skin.
Then, she used a certified organic tonic from another brand and the cleanser foamed!
I don`t know what to think of the fact that they don`t display the whole ingredients list on their labels. They list natural moustire factor and natural cream base as ingredients but that doesn`t tell me anything.
I was reading the reviews for the Stone Crop Mist and everybody said it smells lovely. I have been able to smell this product as well. The ingredients list is very simple: just spring water, stone crop juice ans salicylic acid. I wonder if the Stone crop juice has that smell. Stone Crop is like a cactus, similar to aloe vera. As far as I am concerned those plants do not have that kind of smell.
Then I heard of the other company called Ilike and that Eminence is copying their products.
So, I am really confused here. I hope some of you are experts on organic skin care. I am just way too sensitive to put on my skin chemicals and I want to make sure I don`t spend my money on something that is not truly natural.

I dont think its 100% natural from the color and the scents. It does seem to be paraben free however from what I can figure they use citrus type oils or citric juices to preserve so that can be too much for sensitive skin. The only way to guarantee is pure is to make it yourself. I heard of a line called Terrassentials that seems natural enough but they do the same with the citric acid preservatives.
Have you heard of Mychelle or Sevi? I think they might be okay. Also Marie Chantal? I ordered some creams from her and if the list is accurate it seems pretty natural and organic. I havent used it yet as its my winter cream. |
