Cinema Secrets concealer/foundation helps hide my freckles which have defied practically all other brands of makeup. It's a cream that comes in a tiny pot but you only have to use a little. It blends beautifully and can give a very natural look. It's not easy to find as it's mainly used for television and film but well worth the search as they have tons of shades and the formula has never irritated my sensitive skin. (In case anyone is wondering, I have no connection with the company other than being a satisfied customer ) |

Sundew, so Vichy Dermablend is the same as Dermablend? Cuz I saw both products and they look somewhat different. I wonder why they have different companies. Yeh their answers are kinda vague and I don't think they even answer your question!!
Oh well, so did u get a chance to try on the Vichy foundation? So how was it? |
I'm not sure about color selection but the ingredients on my box are EXACTLY the same as the ones listed for dermablend.
The Vichy Foundation is pretty great. The coverage is fantastic and it feels very light and natural on the skin. I couldn't really detect any fragrance which is always a bonus. However, I had two gripes with it: 1) I bought Opal (15) and it's a little too dark and a little too yellow 2) It doesn't stay on as well/long compared to my Revlon Color stay. |

Well, I bought the Jane Iredale Disappear. Unfortunately it doesn't work for this purpose. As soon as I pat it to blend it in, it half disappears and the color comes through it again. In fact, even my straight powder mineral foundations give more coverage then this. Unless I'm doing something completely wrong?
It's not a total waste, as it still works good for my under eye circles and actually as a full coverage foundation. I will have to look into these dermablend and cinema secret ones. Although I have to say I looked at the ingredients in both ones and they are both super scary. I really use nothing but mineral makeup and natural skin care products, so it's certainly a sacrifice, but I guess a necessary one. Unless I can find a mineral powder concealer that has the heaviest coverage? The dry powders seem to cover more then any of these oily or wet stuff. |
