well i brought my first ever green apple peel, now i know you need to use a spf protection.. what do you lot use for the spf? as in do i need a certain brand/strength of spf?
also, when it comes to applying, it leave it on for 15 mins and i wash it off, and apply the spf straight away right?
any other suggestions for me before i use this product? thanks in advance |

Hi! Welcome to the club!^-^ I'm looking forward to hearing what you think about the peel. It will seriously exfoliate you, so you'll def. need to look for a sunscreen that protects against both UVA and UVB rays. I like Clarins sunscreen, and Colorscience Sunforgettable powder, but really it's about finding what you like. As for applying, you got it right--- wash your face, apply it, and then wash it off after 15 min or so. Wash it off sooner if it really starts to burn tho, ok? And I would recommend doing it at night, since it will probably make your skin temporarily pink. HTH! |

I do this peel in the evening also. It gives your skin some time to heal. I currently use the Murad Hydrating Sunscreen with SPF 15. |

Yes, it does work. I noticed a difference after the first use. I used it in the evening and noticed the difference in the morning. If you leave near a Sephora, get a sample. |

It works like you wouldn't believe! As I type this, my husband and I are both sitting here with it on our faces.^-^ I felt the difference right after the first time I used it, and I could see marks fading after the second time. Delicious!! |

roadtonowhere,
I really like PSF's Pumpkin Peel. Sorry that it didn't work for you. I would also like to know how juice's apple peel compare to PSF's pumpkin peel. |

I would love to try this! There's alot of stuff on my face I'd like to fade. I wonder if EDS will carry this? Otherwise I'll have to add it to my next Sephora order. |

I love the Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel. Thanks manslayerliz! You recommended it in one of the other discussions. The Blemish serum was good too. |

Yay! I'm glad it's working for you too, Yen!
Roadtonowhere, you asked about before and after pix--- unfortunately, I don't have any---technology still eludes me, lol! I haven't tried the PSF pumpkin peel, but after reading all about it here I think I'm going to have cave in and get it sooner or later--- I LOVE the smell of pumpkin pie!^-^ |

I hear that the apple peel causes redness of the skin.
I want to try out this product, is there anywhere in Vancouver Canada i can test out or buy this product? |

I have tried both the PSF Pumpkin Peel and the Green Apple Peel. I like both of them - the PSF peel seems to leave skin a little softer and feels warm on the skin whereas the OP Peel tingles on the skin. The OP Green Apple leaves me pinker than the PSF and 'feels' like it's doing more however I think the overall results are similar. Saying that next morning my skin looked clearer with the Green Apple Peel than with the PSF.
Oh and just to say that the pinkness goes within an hour or so but I tend to use PSF's Organic Moisture mask straight after which hydrates and soothes.
I haven't used the Apple Peel enough times to comment on its overall long term results but I think I'd buy it again!
Hope that makes some sort of sense and helps a bit! |

Hi
What kind of difference to your skin do you get from using the Apple Peel?
You mention red marks disappearing, red marks from old spots or capillaries? Surely they can't go that quickly, over night?
Do tell. Very interested in trying this. |

PS - where can you buy this in stores/online in the UK? Having problems finding it anywhere. |

The red marks I was talking about were acne marks, not capillaries. They don't completely disappear overnight, but they start getting lighter after a couple uses. As for getting it in the UK, I think you should be able to get it here on EDS pretty soon... |
