I used Dr. Natura...It did clean me out but there's no way for me too tell if it did a better job than any other laxative basically. First downside.
Dr. Natura is a three part system that you're supposed to take for 1 to 3 months. One month I can do, but 3 months was bit too long of a committment to me. That's the second downside. I'm still on it, of and on, just to use up the product I bought mainly.
You're supposed to take some pills in the morning, then mix some powder with juice and drink that. At night you then drink some tea. It works on me by morning almost as soon as I get up, which no other "laxative" does.
The third and last downside is the minor cramping. I sometimes feel a bit of cramping just before I have to "go," however it's not too bad. And sometimes I feel nothing at all; DN is gentler I think than other laxatives.
I keep using the word laxatives, but I know a colon cleanser is more than that. But laxatives are the only other product I have to compare DN to.

I do like Colonix from Dr. Natura. I don't feel it annoying at all. I do every year the 3 months program and it really helps on loosing the weight I accumulate during the rest of the 9 months of the year.
I would recommend it. It is easy to take, anti-parasite pills in the morning, with the fiber, then tea at night. |

If you get the fiber in your diet balanced and drink lots of water, cut out sugar, caffeine and alcohol your body will eliminate what it's supposed to, naturally. For occasional bouts of constipation which we all have, like when traveling, Cascara Sagrada is a dependable herbal laxative. |

Have you ever thought about doing a Brown Rice Cleanse? It's a natural way to detox. I lost 5 lbs in a 1.5 weeks. I must have had a lot of "crap" in my system. |

Yeah I tend to agree w/catballou. What's with the "anti-parasite pills" unless you eat dead birds??? C'mon.... |

There are lots of herbal concoctions that you can use. I've tried "Arise and Shine" products when I did a 7 day detox in Thailand. But what I find is best for me is a very simple regimen of psillium husk, bentonite clay and caprylic acid (for candida) mixed with water 2 x a day and daily coffee enemas for 7 days. You may feel like crap for a couple of days but after a week you will feel like a new person. In fact, if I have headache, nausea, general fatigue, I have a coffee enema and I immediately feel better. Weird, gross but(t) true! |

beeb, can you please provide a recipe for the mix? .... do you take bentonite clay internally by mixing with the rest of ingredients in water and then drink it?....and where do you get all the ingredients? Thank you |

You can usually find bentonite clay at big health food stores or Whole Foods/ Capers. Make sure you get the rehydrated (liquid ) clay--it's better than the powder. Psyllium husk is readily available in bulk and capylic acid (again, liquid) can be found at most large health food stores.
I use:
1 tbsp psyllium husk
1 tsp capylic acid
1 tbsp or more bentonite.
mixed with water or diluted fruit juice
If you don't have a problem with candida eliminate the capylic acid. |
