I need a little help..
I want to buy a bare escentuals eye shadow but am stuck on which colour.

I have medium colour skin, blue eyes and my hair is plum with deep red highlights and a few strands of gold through the fringe. I normally go for goldy browns!

What colour do recommend?

I know I'm not Casper's mum, but when I used to dye my hair various shades of red over the years I loved using green on my eyes (brown/green)for striking effect if you go for a bright colour, I've used an olive colour on my mum and it made her eyes look more blue.

For a more kittenish look charcoal looks nice, and is more wearable than black.

I never use eyeshadow really, I just use liquid eyeliner in purple or plum. I'll check out the greens...

thanks, I've never got the hang of liquid liner so I was very happy to discover those flat brushes, you can really get in to the lash line with them.

When I first read the title of the post, I misinterperated it as reading, "Casper's Mum Needs HELP!" Meaning that someone thinks I'm a nutter. Hmm! Maybe my jokes about the new OPI colours weren't so funny afterall! Embarassed

Now, I understand that YOU need help with colour recommendations! LOL!

I have blue eyes too, and as we're going into Fall/Autumn season, I can tell you already that it's the lips that ought to be emphasizing - plums, wines, etc. These would go well with your more dramatic hair tones. As for eyes, have you ever thought about using GOLD?

Great thank you, I do when I go out where plum colours on my lips, maybe I'm just to plum!!...I will definately have a look at gold and greens...I'm not used to wearing eyeshadows really but am going to have a try!
