OMG, my ex had a midlife crisis too, even though he was only 32! He became obsessive about working out, his clothes, his hair, etc. He even started going to the spa to get his eyebrows waxed! He put an ad on an adult website for "dates" while we were still married, and had an affair for months before he finally left me. I'm all for people improving themselves, but seriously, if your husband starts to get crazy about it - beware!
Anyway, what burns me most is not feeling like I had any closure. I wish I could see him one more time just to tell him what a jerk he was, not that he would care. I feel like he feels he "got away" w/ something. He was very smug and cold about the whole thing, as if I was just some poor pathetic obstacle to his freedom instead of his WIFE. Grrr...
Incidentally the latest "Bachelor" reminds me a LOT of my ex - he was even in the same industry - and I get mad when I watch it! |
