I dont usually purchase clothing online, as I like to try things on before buying.
But are there any online clothing stores that you recommend (that ships internationally)?
Thanks |

How about Revolve?
http://www.revolveclothing.com/
I’ve made lots of orders from them, no problems, and it always gets here fast.
Use this code for 20% off - REVOLVEINSTYLE
I used it last week and it worked fine
Free international shipping on orders over US100.
They’re good for those popular US brands and prices are good, compared to the same items in Hong Kong anyway. |

Anyone looking for Xmas presents might want to check out the Revolve sale section. They’ve just marked down some of the Harajuku Lovers line (Gwen Stefani’s 2nd line), inc over 20 styles of handbags, at 50% off. They’re a bit loud, but great for teenagers (prices from $14 for cosmetic cases)
http://www.revolveclothing.com/b/Brands.jsp?c=Harajuku+Lovers&s=B&n=s
Use the code lucky4 at checkout for another 25% off the already reduced prices (found this code online and it worked for me a couple of hours ago)
I just got four Harajuku Lovers bags, plus 2 Tshirts for myself (another brand) for the grand total of US121!
Hope it doesn’t sound like I’m flogging this site, just thought I’d share, as it’s a great bargain, esp with the additional 25% off, and good Xmas presents for those pesky nieces and sisters. If interested, check it out ASAP, as their sale stuff disappears fast, the good stuff goes in the first day or two.
I may even keep some of the intended presents for myself, if I think I can get away with it at my age ... not that that’s ever stopped me |

Some of my favorites are:
[url=tobi.com]Tobi[/url]
[url=southmoonunder.com]South Moon Under[/url]
[url=styleviolet.com]Style Violet[/url]
But I'm not sure if any of these guys ship internationally. I also adore Velvet brand tops and dresses, so I sometimes just go directly to [url]velvet-tees.com[/url], or [url]anthropologie.com [/url]since they carry a lot of Velvet brand stuff.
There's also [url=bluefly.com]Bluefly[/url] and then there's a whole host of vendors on Amazon that might be better for international shipping. Hope this helps!
ETA: for some reason, the system is blocking my BBCode even though I don't have it set to disable it. Sorry for the annoying-looking post -- hopefully you can figure out what I mean from this. I'm leaving it as-is in case it starts recognizing the code properly again. Grr! |

some of my fave places for online clothing: They all have very good, liberal return policies in case clothes don't fit.
www.sierratradingpost.com - great place for outdoor gear, home decor and upscale apparel at rock-bottom price points. Great CS and excellent return policy.
www.nordstroms.com - If you dig through their clearance sales, even someone on a budget [like I am ] can find some great deals. Their return policy is spot on in case something doesn't fit.
www.victoriasecret.com - love their bras, so comfortable and some great finds to be had in their clearance bin. Free shipping for returns and prompt exchange or refund. |

I'm also a big fan of figleaves.com for lingerie -- a lot of the Victoria's Secret stuff has been decreasing in quality, at least for me -- many of my bra's straps have come undone, etc. Figleaves sells a whole host of brands, but I like some of the higher-end ones that you can sometimes catch on sale for really cheap! |

I totally agree with you. I don't like any of Victoria's Secret clothing, very cheaply made, I have bought from Figleaves before and they have beautiful stuff! Swimsuits too! |

Maybe they ship better quality abroad not sure but I buy lots of VS bras with no probs so far. I also buy a few of their trousers as staple for work and they have lasted me years and years. They tend to cut for tall women very well with a good feminine fit with stretch. |

I don't have much experience with VS clothes, just lingerie. I don't know if I just have terrible luck, but the two bra styles I always bought there consistently fall apart -- with one of them the underwire has a tendency to poke through at the cleavage (a risk with any bra, but it ALWAYS happened with this style), and with both styles the straps would become detached in the back after a while, which never happens with other brands for me.
I used to only buy VS because I thought they were the only company that sold DD bras in non-granny-like styles, haha. But once I discovered Figleaves I started getting some of the higher-end brands from there, and I'm much happier with both the variety of styles and the quality. Granted, a lot of Figleaves stuff is pricier, but I tend to be a big sale shopper so I try for discounted styles. I don't know much about Figleaves' customer service as I've never had to return anything, but I believe they're very good, and they pay your shipping back like Zappos does.
And by the way, I'm a big fan of Zappos for shoes -- excellent CS every time for me! |

I have ordered from American eagle (jeans from there last for a decade-seriously) as well as from VS. VS....sigh...is a fickle store. Half the stuff I order from there is crap, the other half is ok. YOu have to really analyze what you order because sometimes their clothes look great on the size -2 model, but then you get it and its horrific fitting. Sweaters & pants too short, too tight etc.
So watch out! |

These stores just sell highly produced items from China, there is no thought put into the design or quality of the components. As soon as you wash this stuff, it falls apart or shrinks really bad! I don't like to support these companies, Walmart and the Gap are the same! |

Online ordering is good but isn't it a bit hard to do that without trying them on first? How do u know it's gonna fit u well then? |

I agree entirely. I only buy T shirts and similar, and tend to stick to brands I know their sizing and hope they're OK. Although I have been known to go into department stores here in Hong Kong, try the item on, then go home and buy it online for less
But jeans? No way... They have to fit exactly! |

I can't tell you how many things I've returned to VS. I will not place another order with them; fit is never right then I have to pay to ship it back. I've learned my lesson about ordering clothing online for now. |
