hello everyone! Im new and i totally love this forum. Im 20 years old and i dont have any skin issues right now other then a few fine lines around my eyes (but i cant help those)...anyway.
i use retin A and LacSal serum from Skinbiology (i really like it). I've tried copper peptides but i didnt get good results from them as i think i did "too much too soon". I was interested in trying the Philosophy Hope and a Prayer vitamin C powder, and alternating that with Super GHK Copper Serum (the weakest of the copper products from Skinbio) every other day.
What are your experiences with the vitamin C powder? Can i mix it with the LacSal serum or would that irritate the skin too much since the lacsal is an exfoliant.
any advice or guidance would be welcomed. Thanks! |

Why don't you try vitamin c serum? It's a little pricey but it will give you a good result and don't risk. You should try cellular skin rx. It's good and the price is reasonable. |

I've had good experiences with vitamin C powder, personally. I haven't added it to any products, but I've mixed it with water and applied it to my face like a mask. I don't see the harm in adding it to a product, it is frequently added to products as a preservative (called ascorbic acid.) |

Rather than being concerned about mixing acids I have changed my routine regarding CP's. One day I use all my C products and the next CP's and exfoliants ( as: LacSal). In the past I was using CP's evening and C products AM. I find my new routine much easier and my skin is responding nicely. |

Winnie - I was thinking of doing that. The other way gets complicated - what works with what. And the timing in between - yuck. |

Winnie - that's a great idea. I've been using CPs for a couple months in the evening and C in the morning, and getting the timing right is driving me nuts. Are you using CPs twice per day on the "CP days" or just evenings only?
Sorry, don't mean to hijack natefan's thread, but I'd like to try this myself. TIA |
