Oh I kid. Well a little.
Mostly I am looking for something to combat the fine lines under the eye. I have occasional problems with puffiness, but I really would like to concentrate on the lines moreso.
I was looking at the True Radiance eye cream. Does anyone have a particular favorite? I am 39 with combo skin. |

Hi LisaAnn:
I know what you mean about the search for a miracle cream for youthful 20 something eyes
You and I are the same age, sounds like similar wants/needs in an eye cream. I am just starting to see some fine lines under the eye area (ugh), some occasional puffiness and some occasional under eye dryness. I have been using True Radiance Eye Cream for a good few months now and I really like it, and deem it as one of my favorite eye creams. But...I get bored and like to experiment with new potions every so often, so I also give a big thumbs up to PSF's super hydrating eye cream (Very Nice) and I just ordered Cellular Skin RX Firming Peptide eye cream (From EDS ) and am anxiously awaiting it's arrival. I will post a review after I use it for 4-6 weeks.
I think you will be pleased with TR eye cream or PSF's Super Hydrating. PSF offers a pretty generous sample for around $2 or $3 - maybe go for the sample first. |

I am 30 years old and have been using the TR eye cream for about a month now. I can't say that I have noticed my fine lines or dark circles are any better. I find it doesn't really sink in but just sort of sits on top of the skin a sort of plastic layer that balls up and rolls off if I touch it.
I use clarins spf eye cream on top so perhaps that has a negitive effect.
I have not found anything to really work for the under eye area and would love to have the thick, smooth skin under my eyes I used to have, if you find something let us know! |

Thank you guys I did a bit of searching on old threads about the TR eye cream and it seems to work for some and not for others, isn't that the way it always is? |

I'm the same age as you and I've been searching far and wide for this eye cream, too. lol Anyway I already tried the True Radiance eye cream and still have half to get through. I don't think I'll reorder since it doesn't help with my fine line undereye issue. I just ordered Dermaxime eye cream, and it is quite hydrating. It got antarcticine and eyeliss in it. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now. I took some pics and couldn't see any lines but in the mirror, I still see some but they are a lot less prominent, which might have explained why these lines won't show up in close up shots. Anyhow I'll continue to use it and once I'm done with the bottle, I'll post a formal review. I don't think anyone has tried this one yet. I decided to become a guinea pig since the ingredients sounded good. They also offered a 30-day money back guarantee, and it was only $34 (shipping from the UK already included). So far I am impressed with the speed they answered all my email inquiries, and how fast I got the shipment. I'm also impressed with the performance of the eye cream, but before I formally conclude how it really works I want to see if the results will be permanent or not.
ETA: Forgot to add that I recently did a TCA cross so I stopped using all facial actives except for the eye cream. Instead I just use Emu oil to heal my skin for about a week now. I noticed that Emu oil also helps with the hydration of the undereye area, so I'm using that in conjunction with the Dermaxime eye cream for the past week. |

That sounds very interesting, bkkgirl. I'm really looking forward to hearing your final verdict.
The more I hear of the True Radiance, the less I think it would work for me, sadly. |

bkkgirl please let us know your thoughts on the Dermaxime eye cream when you feel ready as it sounds very interesting.
I think I will give the TR cream another few weeks and then try something else. I think perhaps the TR eye cream is better for puffy eyes which I don't really have. My issue is more fine lines, thin skin and dark circles. |

Thanks BKK, I look forward to hearing your final review. I think I may too try something else than the TR. I am eyeing the PSF and Juice currently. It would be much more efficient if I had two faces and could experiment on each |

I've heard great things about the Obagi Elastiderm. But don't bother with the Obagi Nu-derm eye cream --it is very average. |

I see from this thread that you went ahead and ordered the eye cream. So far, you sound very pleased with it. Is it still working for you
as a month has gone by and I'm hoping you used it during this past month?
Thanks so much. |

Hi Aimee!
I actually am trying a couple of things; one during the day and one at night. I'm using the PSF Cranberry during the day, but I can't really see any sort of difference nor do I think it's really mosturizing.
At night I've begun to use Emu Oil and so far I'm quite liking it! I started out with a sample from SkinCareRX and will probably order the Clear Emu from LBProcessors when I get done. The sample from SCRX is a bit thicker and grainer, but hasn't been a problem for me applying. |

Lucyluc,
I love the Revive line and have been a faithful user of their products for 2 years now, but their eye creams didn't wow me. The intensive one actually made my skin burn and the renewal one didn't moisturize me enough. Right now I'm on my 2nd tube of Prada's eye cream which doesn't irriate my eyes, plus you can use it on the lids as well (my eyelids are very dry). However, it's still not perfect.
BKK,
are you still loving the Dermaxime?
Waves to LisaAnn
Ladies, I just took the plunge and ordered the Dermaxime stuff. It just sounds so amazing,
(like almost as good as having your own private plastic surgeon pop out of the box) and less than the cost of one Prada eye cream.
BKK
How long did it take to arrive? I want it now!
Too bad it can't just pop out of the computer once you put in your credit card. |

Hey Aimee,
Did you receive your Dermaxime? I was someone who LOVED the TR eye cream but unfortunately it turns out that my recent eye problems were a result of an allergy to the cream. I kept hoping but after three different occasions of adding it back in and waking up with swollen lids I've had to throw in the towel and I'm sick over it. I am looking at this one and like the ingredients.
Edited to add...Nevermind. Just realized this was a new post from you. *sigh* |

I can't believe I only ordered it today. I'm so impatient that it feels like a few days ago!
I have to say that I was really impressed with the ingredients too. I checked most of them out in the Paula book. I didn't want to be impressed but I was. I*just* got a sample of neocutis's eye cream a couple of days ago, and compared the ingredients and the South African stuff sounded lots better.
As for the Neocutis stuff, it's far too early to tell...I've only used it 2 days so far. However, I am trying to be very scientific. Only using it on my right eye, so I can compare it to my left eye in a week. |

Try Guerlain's Success Eye Tech. It's one of my all time favourite. It reduces lines and firms the eye area. The texture is non greasy and sink in almost immediately. The new formula even helps to reduce dark circles and puffiness. I use it occasionally as an eye mask also. |

Same question. My eyes are so dry, also have dark circles and puffiness (a little bit) I tried some eye cream, Gel doesn't work for me, sounds like rich eye cream is better. |

Aimee3-
My doctor really likes the Neocutis, but says it takes about a month to see a change. Just in case you don't see anything after a week! |

Dear Angel & Poolean,
Success Eye Tech is in cream texture, but it doesn't feel heavy at all. It sink in very fast, not like some of the wrinkle eye cream that takes a long time to be completely absorbed.
I don't usually have a lot of sleep, but I think it works very well on my tired eyes. I do notice that lines are less obvious and the eye contour area appears clearer and more alive.
I'll suggest you give it a try, because after trying other eye care, I think this is still one of the best. It's a bit pricey, but I think it's well worth it.

That's good to know. I just hope the sample I have will last a month! It's really tiny! |

Three of my girlfriends just started using Arbonne RE9 and they're singing its praises because they were desperately looking for something that actually worked.
I said, I told you so. I've been using it for years and love it because it doesn't cause those little bumps like most others I'd tried. Of course, I'm not seeing overnight results since I've been using it for so long. But at 41, hey, everyone says I'm looking younger than my age--despite the prior sun damage.
I get mine online at supernaturalskin myarbonne com |
