| Has anyone tried the revitalize peel by skinmedica? Some places call it the Vitalize peel, what were your results. |

Yes, I had the Vitalize peel done recently. It was the first peel where I actually peeled heavily. The peeling was heavy on days 3 and 4 and then almost completely gone by day 5. When the peeling was at its peak, I could go to the grocery store, but I wouldn't have felt comfortable at a party, etc. The aesthestician recommended it for me because of mid-life hormonal acne and hyperpigmentation. She said it was comparable a a Jessner's peel.
It was a very effective peel and I was very happy with the results. It's reduced the number of breakouts (plus I started the prescription aldactone and tazorac for acne) and reduced the hyperpigmentation. Of course, multiple peels are needed. I love it.  |
