I have been using the Exfol serum for a month+ now and although I am not disappointed with it, I am not impressed.
The good thing about it is that the ingredients look good and I didnt purge. It is VERY mild and gentle on the skin so it is suitable for those starting out using BHA and those with sensitive skin. But as I am used to quite strong acids, this serum did not exfoliate my skin.
Before, whenever I picked at a blemish and applied JM over it, it would really sting but with the Exfol serum---I couldnt feel a thing...even on pimples that I picked and picked til it bled. It makes me think that the Exfol serum isnt doing anything to help the healing.
The serum is odourless, clear and gel-like, thats just a teeny bit sticky. But I prefer this texture to JM bioclear. Because with the bioclear, after the 30mins of application, my face would look slightly oily but my skin is normal with the exfol serum.
I purchased mine fromwww.ncnproskincare.com. I got the 1oz sample size at just $10, so it is great value for money. Just that its not effective on my skin

| I have to agree with you that this product is very mild. My skin is very sensitive to acids (AHA, BHA, peels), but this product doesn't irritate my skin at all. It's the only BHA product I can actually use, which makes me wonder if it's really doing anything for my skin. I used it for a month a while back and didn't notice any difference in my skin at all. |
