I, living in the dreary Netherlands, where there is no sun, and it rains almost continously, suffer from fatique, depression etc (Spanish...I need SUN!) Well my sisters and I decided to invest in some full spectrum lightbulbs with ionizers in them from Androv Medical based in the UK. I love these lights! Not only does it give you what the sun naturally gives you (it also promotes vitamin D production in the skin, which we are all lacking due to the whole stay out of the sun, sun = skin cancer, but in reality no sun = internal cancer), it also ionizes smells, kills bacteria, fungus, mold, and viruses in the house.
Honestly we love the lights, and feel more energized throughout the day. Studies have also shown that it helps prevent and reduce breast, colon, prostrate and other cancers anywhere from 30%-64%...from a lightbulb! They are also energy efficient and they are supposed to last for 6+ years. Great product for the winter!!!
Note: when I first put it in, the light looked strange, but after a few minutes I got used to it, and it really is a GREAT investment. |

ps: I forgot to mention it is good for the skin, especially acne.
Just an added bonus! |

Lightsbulbs with an ionizer? I don't think I've ever seen that before! Do you have a link you could post with the ones you got? TIA! |

That is actually where I got my lightbulbs from. I have to say, I feel the difference. I thought maybe it was a placebo effect but apparently my sisters also feel better.
Now we can face these rainy gray days with a little more cheer
I recommend them, since they seem to have so many benefits |

So I noticed that my plants seem to like the lights as well, as they now are all growing towards the lightbulbs...lol it is a strange sight to see, how they are all lopsided and growing outta control! I assume if even the plants are benefiting, then it also must be good for pets and such. |

When I turn on my full spectrum floor lamp, my cat comes on the couch underneath it. |
