I'm currently starting on copper peptides, just started GHK super serum, then I'm planning on using CP serum and progressing up from there.
I'm also using LacSal serum.
Has anyone tried Protect & Restore and liked/disliked it - are the results better or worse than CP serum - do I need to use both?
thank you! |

Protect and Restore is one Skin Biology product I can't use on my face. It actually makes me break out. After I found out it did not agree with me I started using it on my hands at night.
I was using Protect and Restore with high Retinol. My skin does not seem to tolerate Retinols. |

I agree, I felt like Protect & Restore clogs up my skin, so it's no surprise that it would cause people to break out.
I love the copper peptide serums, but the creams don't agree with my skin (on my face), but I love Protect & restore on a patch on my arm that has a scar - it's reduced the appearance significantly. |

I've used it with no problems - use on my neck at night and smetimes on face one half hour before Cp's or one half hour after CP's. Also on hands. |

Maiea, which P&R were you using, was it the Retinol one?
I have a tendency to clog, but I like the idea of using the sunscreen one.
Does anyone know if P&R contains copper peptides, acids, or both? ... so it's OK to use it at the same time as CP serum? I tried emailing skinbio about this but haven't got a reply.
There are so many testimonials on the skinbio site saying how wonderful P&R is. |

annachan, would you say that P&R Day leaves any white cast on your skin, and does it leave the skin matte or shiny?
I would like to like P&R Day as it contains physical suncreen that is not micronised ...
thank you |

Hi ladies, I'm so glad someone posted about this. When I look at the CP sites I get confused by all the products beyond the CPs. So there is a P&R and a PR day cream? So if I use a C serum in the morning I shouldn't also use the P&R daycream? |

I was just informed on another thread NOT to use c and cp together so use the c serum at night.....(or not at all?) I gave up using c serums awhile ago and I think I like the copper creams better.... |

I don't like it. CP serum is better than it. |

I used P&R with sunscreen, during the summer. I liked it a lot, and will use it again next summer.
It made my skin nice and smooth and plumped up.
It has zinc in it I think (?) - anyhow it is whitish and on me, left me looking a tad pale, but I wore it under mineral mu anyhow, so no problem. |

Like Bluesheart, I would like to use P&R Day in the morning but this interferes with my routine.
Unless I switch it and use LacSal/GHK in the morning and C serums in the evening, I don't see a way around it!
And I like C in the morning for antioxidant protection, and copper at night when collagen is building...

I used both P&R w/Retinol and P&R Day Cover, I didn't really like either for facial use, and prefer the CP Serum.
CP Serum and then P&R would be redundant and you might over-do the copper, just use one at a time. (The P&R does have copper peptides in it, I believe considered to be at the same "strength" as the CP Serum.) |
