Hi, I have redness on my T-zone area... and I think the Shisedo Renewing Serum helps tone it down without using Makeup. Does anyone have anything they use that works to tone down the redness? I prefer to use skincare products, rather than cosmetics products.... TIA |

I have no idea if this would work for everyone, and I know a lot of people don't like this product due to the alcohol in it - but Kose Sekkisei toner is awesome for me, I also get red/blotchy skin, but it completely disappears after a couple weeks of regular use of this toner. |

as to my memory, La Roche Posay and Avene have such kind of anti-redness products. but I've never used these before. |

maiea, thanks for the info! I am kinda scared of the alcohol though just because I have sensitive skin and I have dry patches, especially on the nose area too.... what is your skin like? |

I find products with seabuckthorn do wonders for redness. I use the berry bar.www.seabuckthorn.com
I've also been using Replenix Green Tea Serum, and I find it very soothing and it calms the redness, it also comes in a cream. http://www.dermstore.com/product_Replenix+Serum+CF_4066.htm |

I didn't have serious redness on my face, but I thought it was pretty blotchy sometimes. Since I have occasional sensitive skin caused by dehydration and dryness, I found using PSF's O2 serum really toned down the redness.
Once I stopped using the O2, the redness would come almost immediately so the O2 sort of acted like a preventative measure. Don't ask me why it does that though..but at least it worked! |
