I have been wanting to try the Sonya Dakar Omega Oil for quite some time and finally decided to take the plunge and order it from her website. However, alas, they do not ship to Canada.
I was wondering if anyone would know how I would be able to get her products since I live in Vancouver, Canada?
Thanks. |

Sam, go to the Sephora website and look up "store locator" in Canada. Theres a Sephora in West Edmonton Mall and 2 in Calgary. Phone them and order your hard to find products. I'm pretty sure Sephora stocks Sonja Dakar. If not try Holt Renfrew. Its worth a try. |

Thamks SuzieQ.
I know that Holt Renfrew doesn't carry this line and I just checked the Sephora website and couldn't see Sonya Dakar listed.
I do hope there is a way to purchase it, though. |

Wow, I was a fan of her line and was very frustrated purchasing from the States.
Thanks for starting up this post. |

I just took a look at DermStore and wow, they use UPS and I find that they are the worse when it comes to shipping service. |

Thanks Marina, for that link.
DermStore does carry the line but when I checked the "Orders from Canada" section, that section did not list the Sonya Dakar line at all.
I will e-mail them to get that clarified but I wonder if the line is not allowed to sell within Canada.....?? |

Sorry, I checked after and that surprised me too. Check with them, I'm pretty sure that you can order from the US side (they allow cdn adresses). I just worry about having to pay UPS.But, the exchange being what it is, it may not be too bad if you like the product, |

I used to call their phone number (on the website) & they sent whatever I wanted here to Southwest Ontario - for $25 or so. I incorporated that amount into the price of the products so it was okay if I did a substantial order but not for one or two items.
It seems to me that her line was at Barney's or Henri Bendel's or some other high end store in New York. Again, their websites don't deliver to Canada but a phone call sometimes makes the difference
P.S. The Omega Oil is very good & so is the Seaweed Liposome. At some point I would order the seaweed product again - preferably if I'm on a US vacation. Hey. I'm going to Florida for the month of January |

That's good to know RuthMarion. The Seaweed Liposome gel does look interesting. Did you apply it after cleansing and then Omega oil over that? What did you like about the Seaweed product?
Thanks. |

You put a thin layer on after cleansing, toning & after it dries your face feels smooth & nourished. It made my face feel very healthy & fresh. I really can't remember the Omega Oil order (this was very pre-EDS ) but if you phone them they'll be able to tell you all. I believe that it was after but sometimes gels & oils can "ball" up so I would hate to give you the wrong information.
I'm thinking to go to the product request thread to ask for Sonya Dakar now. Oh, my goodness. |
