I picked up a bottle of John Masters Organics Rosewater Mist on clearance at a local skincare store (they were no longer caring this line b/c, apparently, it was difficult for them to order the products so they were discounting their JM stock to clear it out of their store). Anyway, when I use it it has a odd sour-like smell to it. I can smell the rose in it but it is far from divine....not like other rose hydrosols I've used. In fact, it's borderline unusable for me b/c of the foul, sour smell.
Anyone know if this smell is indicative of an old product? Should I take it back to the store? Or does JM's rosewater mist have this characteristic odd scent?
