I have recently started using peter thomas roth AHA/BHA acne clearing gel(with glycolic acid 10%).My skin has been acne free for the last 6 7 months except for very few occasional zits around that time of the month. My skin is clear now but has some acne scars from previous major hormonal breakout, also i have problem of black heads around my nose area.
The problem is that i bought this gel when i had that major acne problem but didnt use it coz i was scared as it was my first time with any AHA product but now as i didnt want to waste it, i gathered courage n started using it since last week.
After 1 week of use, my skin has broken out a bit ( may be the gunk is coming out, hopefully it will clear up soon)
Things that are bothering me now are
Is it fine to use it now when i have no acne but just old scars n blackheads? will it help me in anyway?
How long will these tiny little bumps will take to clear up?
How is this different from PTR GLYCOLIC ACID 10% HYDRATING GEL ? As it also has same amount of glycolic acid.( actually i wanted to try this glycolic hydrating gel but couldnt get hold of it so i bought this stuff).
What about serums? should i apply serum before applying this gel or after it n after how long?
Any precautions or care i should take while using this product?
What would happen after i finish this bottle, will the good results stay or would vanish once i stop using it?
Any help would be great
