The most effective skin care product I have ever used is Dr Sebagh Serum Repair. It has an incredible hydrating and instant firming effect. I am looking for a more natural alternative now. I have used the hylauronic serums from Cellex C and Skinceuticals, but they don't even come close to Dr Sebagh, so I had a look at the ingredient list to find out what makes his Serum Repair so special. I noticed that the other active ingredient is a peptide. I almost bought it again, but decided against it after being reminded of the cocktail of parabens high up on the ingredient list. Are there any other serums on the market with this combination of peptides and hyaluronic acid? |

The serum sounds nice, but I am confused as to why you dont want to buy it again. Are you afraid that the other chemicals might have a bad effect on your skin in the long run? Im just trying to learn everything I can from this forum so I can apply the knowledge to my own skin care routine! |

I just started using a firming serum recently after trying a sample that I liked, but it's too soon to tell if it's really doing anything. It's MyChelle Serious Hyaluronic Firming Serum, and I use it under the MyChelle Supreme Polypeptide Cream. It's only been about a week, but so far I love both.
The serum sinks in quickly and leaves no sticky residue. It also seems to make pores appear smaller. The only thing, though, it does have a strange fragrance...but I like it I think it's the neroli essential oil that I smell, but to me it smells like Coppertone suntan lotion!
I really like the Polypeptide Cream...it contains Matriyxl3000 and other peptides. I have the scented version, but it also comes unscented. I use this both day and night as it is winter here...not sure if I would be able to use as a day cream in the summer. It's very moisturizing, but not greasy and it sinks right into my skin. Here's the website in case you'd like to check out further:
