Bush, do you like the new Polish formula?
I'm looking the look of enlighten - thanks Havana for the listing.

The formula for Polish hasn't changed, Sister, but Enlighten has. Apparently they have added or are in the process of adding "a 10th lightening ingredient". |

Also, has anyone used Osmosis refres and if so what do you think about it. TIA |
Sorry, I missed your question, Jom... For the AM, I found (like Alexis52 mentions on page 2) that my eye area did not feel or look hydrated after use. Maybe if your eye area is oily? I did not see any positive effect after using both up and would not repurchase at that price. HTHs! |

The formula for Polish must have changed because it used to be a very thick red mixture and about 6 weeks ago it changed to a very runny light colour. I don't have an old bottle so can't look up the old ingredients. |

I received my order yesterday. I will be starting the regime tonight (didn't last night so I could do a facial self-tanner) and will let you guys know how things are going after a couple weeks. If I get any improvement in the congestion on my nose and cheeks I will be a happy camper. I have battled clogged pores on my nose since I was a teenager but the ones on my cheeks have only been there for the last several months. I also have an orange-peel type appearance to the skin on my cheeks by my nose; I'm not sure if this is due to the pore congestion or what but I would love for this area to smooth out. Anyway, that's probably a tall order but any improvement would help. |

Darn! I don't have an old one either but I was told that although the formula is changing, that it has not been released as of yet. Did you get it from someone other than JM? |

I have the old polish:
Here you go:
Purifiied water
Pure raspberry
Whey, L-Lactic Acis, Phosphatiducholine, Niacinimide, Sil & Benzyl (Jasmine) Alcohol, Xantham gum, Essential oils:Citrus Medica Limonum, Citrus Aurantifolia, Eugenia Caryophyllus Flower, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis.
Please excuse any spelling mistakes (as if you can tell). I got this as part of the kit & like it a lot. I had similar if not better results with NCN's pumpkin mask, so if they've changed the formula, I don't think I'd buy again. I really liked that it was thick & 2 pumps really did the job.
Edit: the ingredients look identical to the new formula, so I would contact JM if that's where you got it from; something dosen't seem right. |

Thanks Marina - Re: NCN Pumpkin Mask compared to the Polish. I have had the Pumpkin Mask and loved it. Need to re-order.
I think I'll stick to my original purchase plan at Osmosis.
Marina - what else do you use and like from this line? |

I have sent an email to Joella explaining the contents of the new bottle of Polish. It sounds like they put the wrong product in the bottle. I wonder what it is? |

I like the renew & replenish. I'm going to try the boost because I don't have sensitive skin and can practically take anything.
I like the cleanser although I can only use it in the morning. It's a bit drying and at night I like to use a cleanser that also removes eye make-up. This is the gentle cleanser, not the clarifying one.
I like shelter a lot. I also have Niadyne sunscreen and, although I like it, I find it a bit heavy & greasy especially since I layer serums underneath. Shelter is matte & dosen't whiten.
I only use replenish & renew at night, they're too expensive to use 2X a day and it takes about a month for me to get them from JM. That said, I'm getting nice results in terms of tone, color & pore-shrinkage(is that a word??) Oh, and one pump of each is plenty although I understand the temptation to use 2 pumps.
Forgot to mention: I din't like either of the eye serums, too drying. For best results in terms of firmness & wrinkles, I use PSF eye gel and one of the unmentionable eye creams on top. |

Thanks Marina - I like to hear what others are using and how it is working. Had not thought of the shelter - guess that's sunscreen - Is it UVA and UVB?
I use an unmentionable eye cream as well for day. Also have the PSF gel and also use the hydrating eye cream from PSF - nighttime. |

I was unable to use the gentle cleanser twice a day and, in fact, was only able to use it every second day at the most as I also found it drying.
Although I am not a big sunscreen user (tsk tsk! I thought I should declare that up front), Shelter agrees very much with me--the ingredient listing is innocent enough and it's non-greasy, matte as well as imperceptible on the skin.
p.s. I, too, started using one pump, once a day as I found it was becoming too expensive. Cleanser excluded, I found that for my sensitive skin, there was no real irritation with any of the products, Boost included. |

I have not received any response to my emails regarding the possible incorrect product in the Polish bottle. I said "possible" but I am reasonably sure the contents are wrong. I am also annoyed that I have not received any explanation. This is sufficient for me never to purchase these products again. Although I liked them, I no longer have any confidence in the company and wonder how they could put the wrong product in a bottle, seems like there is no quality control. I would never be sure that if I ordered another product, the contents would be correct so I won't use them again. |

Wow Bushy, that is kind of scary. You wonder just exactly who is filling the bottles! |

Oh! Bushy, did you write Osmosis or JoE? When I wrote the big O it took nearly two weeks to get an answer from Tammy J. She explained she'd been away and she preferred to be the person answering the emails. Funny, but last week, my cell phone rang while I was with a client and when I checked my messages it was Dr. Ben. LOL. |

I have just received an email from Tammy who said the formula was changed from raspberry enzymes to lime enzymes and that there should have been a card with the product. She also said I had received a more fluid version and that if I sent it back they would replace it with a thicker version.
I am pleased that I have had a response but not so happy about the answer. If a product is formulated for a specific purpose, you would expect only one formula and to have a "more fluid version" means they should be listing different ingredients for each version. Also, how would you know which one you were getting. IMO the watery stuff I received did nothing compared to the previous red mixture. |

Yikes! What if you had been sensitive or allergic to lime/citrus? I think it is a totally reasonable expectation when ordering a product to get the product you ordered. I wonder if the "more fluid version" is not so much a different ingredient listing from the "thicker version" but maybe a batch that didn't turn out so well... |

Bushy,
I think the appropriate thing would be for them to GIVE you two of the correct formulations and not charge you for the extra one. |

I'm surprised they didn't offer to reimburse Bushy. With the backorders you would think they'd put a little more effort into their CS. |

Quality control is one thing I totally expect from skin care companies because we are putting this stuff on our faces, near our eyes and mouth. This episode has really disillusioned me about the product line and I will be sending another email to Tammy explaining my dissatisfaction. |

I just had a look at the website and the ingredients listing for Polish does seem to be quite different to the old ingredients. I wonder if the website is correct? I also noticed that it still contains raspberry so it can't be true that the raspberry was replaced with lime. It is very confusing. |

I have had an email from Ben Johnson explaining what has happened with Polish and I am satisfied with what he has said and with the ingredients. The email has allayed any concerns I had and I will certainly continue to use the products. |
