I don't know how, but my hair has gotten super tangled and knotted in the back. I don't know how to fully get it all out and keep it from getting knotted up again. I went and bought John Master's Detangler, hoping that would make it easier to comb through and get them out. It hasn't. It did absolutely nothing for my tangles.
I'm really desperate to get these out and get my husband to stop insisting on cutting off all my hair as the only solution. How can I save my hair? |

Hi BYRG,
Just be patient, get a very good conditioning balm (such as Biolage's) and while your hair is wet with the conditioner on it, take a wide toothed wooden comb and comb the hair gently from the ends up.
Don't lose faith--this has happened to me before, and a good conditioner saved the day...
Good luck!

I have the same problem from wearing my riding helmet. Before I take a shower, I would apply conditioner or jojoba oil in that area, before I shampoo.
Give it a try, I hope it works for you. |
