Has any one done any body peels ie.arms hands chest etc using lactic acid. I have done TCA peels before, but I find I get inconsistent results on my body.

I would like to know a good (strong) % to start at. I am seeking to remove sundamage/pigmentation.

I was thinking of buying the 88% lactic acid from GOW? ANy opinions?

thks
rebecca

I use 50% Lactic Acid peels on my face, declotee and hands. Lactic is my fovorite acid and it is fairly gentle and very moisturizing. I get mine from Platinum Skin.

Quote:
50% Lactic Acid Exfoliator

This is a wonderful peel for those dealing with aging and pigmented skin. Lactic Acid will exfoliate the outer surface of the skin and encourage new cell turnover. It is a natural humectant, pulling moisture from the collagen levels to the surface of skin. It is an excellent acid choice for dry and sundamaged skin. This treatment is relatively non-irritating with very little, if any, down time. Our Lactic acid peel has been enhanced with a "skin lightening" and " anti-aging" coctail of herbal remedies.
Usage
Lactic is a mild acid and can be applied 1-2X per week to keep skin moist and exfoliated.

Contra-Indications: Milk Allergies

Thanks Winnie, have you found it does remove pigmentation?
