Anyone know the difference? EDS just posted this "silk finishing powder" in their "new" section -- in both rose and lavender (just like the old Jurlique Silk Dust) plus a citrus version. Just curious if anyone knows whether this is a reformulation of the old stuff, or just a new title, or what!? I'll be SO SAD if my Rose Silk Dust changes in any way!
Aha, ETA: http://www.jurlique.com/page/skin_nav
Apparently, they're just changing the packaging... I hope. But I'm bummed -- I know lots of other people were annoyed by the ceramic jar, but I kind of liked it -- it was DURABLE! I'm really good at cracking/breaking cosmetics packaging, particularly stuff made of plastic, so I liked that it was heftier. Ah well, perhaps this one's easier/lighter. |

You must have been reading my mind, because I noticed the same thing.
I LOVE the rose silk dust, and have found it to be invaluable for setting my make-up.
I too was wondering if they have changed the formulation, and am hoping that they haven't messed with a good thing.
The packaging change in my opinion is a good thing, because those glass jars leak big time. No matter how tightly I close it, if it falls over in my drawer there is always a little bit of powder scattered around. The jar is a definite no go for travel!!
If any of you have gotten the new "format", please report, and what's up with the citrus...anyone tried that. I am running out and need to re-order soon. I will definitely keep my eye on this thread! |
