Seaflora Sea Spray Splash Cleanser
This cleanser is a bit different from the norm in that it has a thin watery texture that spreads very easily but isn't overtly soapy! It actually feels more like a thicker water that is super gentle, soothing and calming but with a very light, kind of uplifting and pretty scent that is hard to define. Much to my initial surprise, it easily removes MMU and mascara without stinging or being drying in any way. I love the way my skin looks and feels afterward--even toned and calm (as in not blotchy or red) with a refreshed and clean feeling. As far as the packaging goes, the pump-topped bottle is glass which may be a con for some as it does make it heavier. For me, though, it's more of a plus as I generally prefer glass over most plastics. I also like that it is sturdy enough that I can press the pump to dispense the product without having to pick the bottle up with my wet hands.
For those that prefer foaming cleansers, they recently released their new Sea Foam Cleansing Concentrate.
Although their sampler kit does not contain any of their cleansers, it does contain 6 of their most popular products plus a dried seaweed chamois in a really beautiful handcrafted and engraved Canadian maple wood tube. I received it as a gift last summer and LOVED it!
Their CS is very friendly and responsive.
From back of bottle: Alcohol-free, this delicate, every day cleanser contains Iridaea, Laminaria Digitata, Fucus Rockweed, Ulva lactuca seaweeds, Vitamins A, C and E to lightly cleanse skin without any drying effects.
Directions: Excellent for sensitive skin, it will leave your skin refreshed and healthy. With a damp face cloth, apply a quarter size of cleanser and massage onto skin. Rinse thoroughly. Pat dry.
Blurb: Hand-harvested from the cold clean Canadian Pacific Ocean, our all natural wild seaweed products are nutrient rich with vitamins, minerals and trace elements from our exotic underwater garden off the coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

Hi havana8, great post!
I have been looking for reviews on Seeflora's products, which I am very keen to have a try.
I am wondering if you have tried any of their other products? Any comment is helpful. Thanks! |

I tried their foam cleanser, light facial mask, and the serum. They're all great, especially the mask, which I use to soothe my acne-prone skin after extraction or treatment. I hope that EDS starts to carry their products since it's also a canadian brand it shouldn't be too hard. |

Which foaming cleanser do you mean, lovelyjane? Are you able to post the ingredient listing?
rebeccaj, I haven't tried a lot but of what I did, I really liked the Iridaea Purifying Masque, the Potent Seaweed Serum and the Soothing Sea Kelp Soak (wish this one was bigger! LOL)
Oh! and their signature Wild Sun-Dried Seaweed Chamois which I use on my face although it can also be used on the body. Very soothing and calming. |
