The product was advert by ESKINBOUTIQUE as NEW! but when it arrived, the box was not sealed in cello as the new product would be, the tamperproof seal had been broken into, the jar had smudgemarks on it, and when I opened the jar, the product( VIVITE eye cream) was gross and dried out.
I immediately contacted the seller by email at eSkinBoutique@yahoo.com to let him know of the problem and that I wanted to return it for purchase price +S&H +cost of my return postage. He never returned my msg. I contacted eBay and PayPal and my credit card company. Of course, eSkinBoutique is disagreeing with the dispute according to eBay.
And this seller's reviews were just fine! "99.6% positive reviews!!" It makes me wonder who reviews the seller??? His grandparents and everyone else in his family???
I'm still waiting to hear what happens, but BEWARE of this seller!!!! |

The seller's had 573 transactions with 2 negatives in the past 180 days I think one of them was yours Fawnie.
I find this site useful for checking on sellers' feedback...

Despite the great feedback this seller has, I don't think I would have ordered from them because of what their profile and policies LACK. There is no return policy; most reputable ebay sellers WILL offer a return policy. And did you notice that when you check out the description on a few of their items, absolutely NONE of them indicate they are 100% guaranteed authentic?
I hope you get your $$ back - I have been lucky enough to have gotten great deals from ebay on skincare related purchases but I'm careful who I buy from. |

Yeah, live & learn. Thanks for the good advice - I'll be more careful next time. Hopefully eBay, PayPal and my own CC company can help me this time. |
