I was just in Sephora boppin' about the testers, and on impulse I swiped a few of their products. I was amazed by the texture of their pressed eye shadow and blush pans -- SO finely milled!
Their "Hot Mama" blush is almost identical in color to NARS Orgasm, but it's much softer and more finely milled, and it was way easier to get out of the pan.
And their eye shadows are just scrumptious in texture. They don't have a very broad color range, so there are only a couple that I would want to buy, but I'm definitely sticking this on my wish list.
The packaging is adorable, too -- a little cardboard square with a magnetic closure and a tiny built-in mirror. And these look to be the same size/shape as Stila pans, so I think you might be able to place them in those Stila refillable compacts if you could pry them loose from the original packaging (not that you'd want to!).
Anyway, just thought I'd twitter. I didn't actually purchase anything, but it's on my future To Try list for sure. I'm curious to know if anyone else has tried some of their cosmetics yet. |

K, so I had to return something to Sephora, and I totally bought that eye shadow I was ogling before. Gorgeous, and I just can't get over the consistency, not to mention the packaging. I'll try and post a pic later! |

Yes!
I have the Time Balm concealer, which I think is just so-so. The sponge it comes with is worthless. I've used it with a concealer brush, but honestly it works best with just my finger because it seems to need a little warming up.
I also have "Hot Mama" and I love it! I've never owned Nars Orgasm, but I have used other people's and Hot Mama seems dead on to me. Maybe even slightly more pigmented. I also use it as an eyeshadow (not at the same time as a blush!) as it's meant to be a dual-purpose product. And it's tons cheaper than Nars. Did I mention that I love it?? |

Exactly what I thought -- like NARS but more pigmented.
Sadly, I don't think I can pull off this shade. Better for someone with a more neutral or warm skin tone. But I do love the way it looks and feels, I just can't pull it off.
Glad to hear your feedback on their concealer -- I hate when concealers force you to use your fingers because they need warming up, I know exactly what you mean! I'm on a concealer hunt so I'll be crossing this off my list. |
