Many moons ago before I knew anything about skincare I fell in love with Lancôme I had ben on a school trip to Paris and on that last day with what was left of my spending money I sneaked off to the Lancôme shop and bought myself the only thing there I could afford, a tube of the Clarifiance Gel. I was ecstatic with my purchase and everytime I used it I felt like Brigitte Bardot! Anyway as I got older I tried other products from this line and although they always felt luxurious to use they failed to deliver the results I was after. I do think that Lancôme is nice is you already have perfect skin, but I never have so I had to move on from my first love  .
One product however I keep coming back to is the Clarifiance Gel, I think some of my feelings about it are nostalgic but I do genuinely like it. I found an old tube the other day with a little left in it and decided to buy it again as I still haven't found my HG gel cleanser and thought this would work well with my Clarisonc which I should get next week  . But to my horror when I got to the shops they told me that this had been discontinued in the UK! I couldn't believe it they still seem to sell it every where else so I will perhaps try and get it on ebay or something but I was wondering if anyone here has used it and if they know if it contains SLS as that is the only thing that would put me off getting this cleanser again.
Oooh it makes me so mad when they discontinue products I love, they always do it to my favorite chocolate bars too  . |
