I've had this milia seed on my upper right eyelid for about 2 years. About a week ago I tried to poke at it with a sterile needle and tried to dislodge it. No luck. I went to the dermatologist right away and she used a scalpel and a comedone remover and still was only able to get a tiny bit of white out but told me to come back as needed to remove all of it. She also said that after a certain period of time, the milia gets enclosed with skin growing around it and told me not to attempt to remove it on my own and my husband told me the same.
Well stupid me was so annoyed because after the scab came off from where she worked - it was filled with whitestuff again but seemed more close to the surface so I thought I could attempt once again with the needle. I poked and pushed and NOTHING! I'm so worried it's going to be worse than before now and I don't want this white bump to be over my eyelid forever!! Does anyone know what I can do to prevent it from getting worse or how to get rid of it?? |

Urm, don't mean to be a smarty pants, perhaps I didnt get the story right. Thought I did read that your derm told you to return to her and she would fix it?
You do plan on returning to get it fixed right?
So why the dilemma? Is the milia getting inflamed? Could it be soothed with a cold camomile tea bag?
Perhaps others would have some better suggestions? |
