Everyone seems to be looking for good eye cream. Marcelle Hydra-C gel cream is one of my faves. I have been using it for a couple of years and I think I am on my 3rd bottle. I love the pump and I don't have many wrinkles at all. It's nice and I will continue using it but need to start using something more for the late 40's. |

Strange this "Hydra-C ComplexE Eye Contour Gel-Cream" : methylparaben and propylparaben are 3rd and 4th on the ingredientslist ! |

lin, I just looked at the ingredients list too, and obviously this company has not followed product labelling rules. Full ingredient disclosure requires that you name each ingredient in the formula, by the INCI name, in the order of highest loading to lowest loading.
Obviously the parabens are NOT loaded that high in this formula. It would be normal to see the parabens down at the bottom of the list. As a matter of fact, if loaded at 1% or less, the company no longer has to place them in order, but can simply place these low loaded ingredients at the very bottom of the list. Methylparaben and Propylparaben are usually loaded at about 0.25% or less, and therefore should be at or near the bottom of this list.
It's obvious problems like this that often makes me "wonder" about a company and its products. Because, the full disclosure rule is very well known in the industry.

Marcelle is only available in Canada. I use several of their products and I buy them from Shoppers Drug Mart.
I, too, was quite perplexed when I looked at their ingredient lists for their products. I'm not sure why Marcelle has placed the parabens so high in the list.... |
