I have huge dark rings around my eyes - it creeps onto my nose and it's between my eye and eyebrow.
I'm unable to post a pic but if you search 'dark eyelids' on google images, it looks pretty much like the girl in the second row first two pictures, and fourth row third picture.
I know the skin underneath the eye and the eyelid are very delicate, and any strong products should be avoided around these areas. I am fine with living with these being dark. But can I use products where its on the nose and underneath my eyebrow or are these areas also too delicate? I can't tell.
I've begun taking pure cod liver oil to help. Makeup doesn't cover as it's too black. What else can I do that's really effective in reducing the darkness? Looking for products as I'm involved in all the standard procedures for dark eyes - sleep, water, no sun, cucumbers etc. I'm aware that this may be hereditary and difficult to fix |

| I paste your keywords on Google the response I get from there is not so satisfactory, some how I can imagine what your condition would be. Well I can't give you any recommendations until I look at your problem, but can suggest you to go to any skin specialist and consultant if the condition is more curious. |

Hi, dark circles can have various causes, but common ones are hyperpigmentation - ie too much melanin in the area (I often see this in middle-aged Indian people, for instance) and in Caucasians more likely to be damaged, transparent skin that shows the blood vessels below. That's my problem.
So, as you see, two quite different causes. Can you tell which one is yours? |

Dark Circles Under Eyes..
Make Raw potatoes, Almond oil, Mint leaves mixture and apply Under Eyes.
Also Do this things,
-Good fat in the diet
-Keep yourself hydrated. That means you also need to drink fruit juices e.g. cranberry juice.
-Detox your body through diet once a week.
-Consume more protein.
You may try a few home remedies, but the chances of reducing dark circles are less. It will take a long time (as long as 3-4 months) to observe any visible result. but you will get a positive result at the end. |

Makeup should be able to cover anything really... Ensure that you put a primer before applying shadow.
In terms of how to go about it, it really depends on what is the cause.
If it is due to expanded blood vessels, there are creams for that.
If the cause is skin too thin, a good way to thicken skin is pinch and roll massage from Flex Effect, you can find the description if you search on the forum. I have been doing it for quite some time now and am quite happy with results - also good for (against) wrinkles
Good luck! |
