i gave up on using it daily, as it simply takes me too long to apply it...
imo - the important thing with MMU is, beside the matching colour, the layered and very thin application... this takes too much time in the morning for me...
as "regular" MU doesnt cause me break outs or clogged pores, i prefer to use this... |

I agree it can get quite drying on the skin. That's why I apply foundation powder on top to hold a matte look. With bare minerals underneath it actually provides a good primer for my powder foundation. |

I gave up on it too. I used it exclusively for a few years and then all of a sudden, it started to itch. And this was bismuth-free formulas too. Gosh, I've tried brand after brand after brand - all itch. It's the zinc oxide and titanium dioxide that itch - I've tried mineral without zinc oxide, minerals without mica, minerals without bismuth oxychloride - all itch. Sad too, because I really loved minerals for awhile there, but I just can't stand the itching!

i've given up on MMU too, i can't work well with it being in powder form and it'/s so hard to find a true match for my skin, as i've always been buying online. |

I know a lot of these posts on here are a year or more old but I had to resurrect this thread to find out...those who did give up on MMU, what did you go to? I've been wearing minerals for years (here's just a few-BE, glo, Mineral Fusion, Everyday Minerals, Mineral Essence, Meow, alima, Jane Iredale liquid and my favorite, Pur.) Traditional makeup trashes my skin, but I HATE the look of minerals, I have tried a million of them, I've buffed, not buffed, misted, you name it. They just do not work for me, but everytime I try to go back to a liquid (even a clarifying formula one) my skin gets trashed. So I want a liquid with NO TALC, and no major chemicals, I don't think that's too much to ask but apparently it is for cosmetic companies! Ok, so i'm finished ranting now, but yes, as soon as I can find anything else that works I am finished with minerals. So besides liquid minerals, does anyone have any suggestions for oily, acne prone skin that needs light coverage but is irritated by everything? TIA |

I tried Jane iredale face powder and Pure Luxe eye shadows,I thought they are all very suitable for my skins. My skin are very dry in winter and oily in summer. |
