Hi all.....
I just ordered these products yesterday and am quite excited to try them.
Any success stories out there regarding these products that you'd like to share? I'd love to hear them!

I know the Dermalogica Microfoliant is a popular product but I didn't like it very much. It made me break out, and I hardly ever break out, I had pimples on my cheeks. I also didn't like it because I thought it was more of a scrub, but the particles dissolved easily with water and I didn't really feel like I was getting a scrub. I prefer the Astara Daily Refining scrub. The particles do not dissolve in water and I feel like I'm getting a good, gentle scrub with it. The particles are very fine and gentle so it can be used every day, like the Microfoliant. That's just my experience, I know there are a lot of people who love the Dermalogica. |

HI Cmayc,
I did not like the microfoliant either. It made my skin quite dry. However, there are many people on the forum who swear by it. For me I swear by the Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel - reg strength. I will use it several times a week to get that glow, then move back to once a week. It is one of my favorite exfoliators, and I have tried several others, yet was not as happy!! |

I am still loving the Becca spf primer. No new freckles have popped up while using this. Good luck. |

cmayc, I use daily microfoliant daily and I find that if all the particles are dissolving, then just use a little less water in your hands and it'll stay scrubbier. I really love it and I feel my skin is smoother and brighter, but I did find that the first few days I did have a little redness on my cheeks, but once I used it for more than a week it went away. Hope that helps! |

I love this product.
Take a look at the product review section. You'll find a lot of raves & not raves about the microfoliant |

Thanks for your opinions and tips. I'll be receiving these products in the mail tomorrow I think.
Hopefully I'm one of the happy ones who will try them. It sure is trial and error when it comes to trying new products. I get nervous every time I purchase a new one.
If I could get reimbursed for every product I bought and didn't like.....well, I'd be pretty well off! That's why this forum is a god-send! |

I ordered the primer yesterday, based on the great reviews. I hope it will not get stuck at the Customs declaration, because the weather is getting sunnier over here.
I think a primer with sunscreen will be more effective for me than a sunscreen/moisturizer, because I am already putting lots of serums and lotions on my skin. |

I agree...a primer made more sense to me too. I haven't received mine yet - my husband and I have a private mail box in the States we get things sent to, so we'll have to wait for the weekend to pick it up (it's a bit of a drive). We'll have to compare notes once we try it. I've never tried a primer or a physical sunscreen before, so it should be interesting. |
