Has anyone come across a deodorant that works, smells good, and does not rub off on your clothing? I am sick of buying all of these brands that claim they are clear and do not leave white marks on your clothes, but they all do! |

I have found that all of the natural deodorants that I tried don't leave stains on clothes. The one I like the best is green beaver sport. You will sweat but you will not stink.Sweating is actually a natural process that your body needs to do,so you really shoud be just covering up the smelies |

I like Dove...doesn't come off on my clothing. Also if you want to go for something that keeps your from sweating all day, and smells good all day long. Secret Clinical Strength works great, you apply it at night and it plugs the pores so you don't sweat as much during the day. This also keeps you from needing to use the deodorant again in the day so your clothes are strain free.
I am no expert, but there are so many sweat glands throughout the body that if your using an antiperspirant for your underarms... it won't effect your overall core body temp. You will just sweat elsewhere i.e forehead, hands, lower back etc. Plus I hate wet underarms...yuck! |

True, there are a lot of glands on the body. But your underarms are close to the heart and your breasts and you do want to have your heart be able to cool down and your boobies and lymphs clean |

Thank you for the suggestions.
I'm currently using dove pro-age ultimate clear- its ok, but I find it does still leave some white marks.
I don't really sweat much, But if I don't use deodorant then it does smell a bit under the arms!
Do the natural deodorants have any scent?
Applying the deodorant at night is a good idea, I will try that! |

I'M STILL IN LOVE WITH MY Crystal Rock after many months. I bought everyone I know one. I think there are 2 brands and I use Body Crystal Rock brand, which is much better than the Naturally Fresh brand. Make you sure swipe it at least 20times. You will not stink even you sweat profusely during exercise. I know because I sweat very easily during execise and I'm a runner. I've been so IMPRESSED and STILL LOVING it so much. It lasts forever too. I got mine at Wholefoods for $7 (will last at least a year). |

There tons of them out there and some are really nicely scented.Nature's gate has some very nice scents. And from personal experience I don't recommend Alba deodorants-neither scent nor quality will amuse you |

There's another thread here at EDS on good deodorants and anti-perspirants you might want to check out. I wouldn't want an anti-perspirant for the reason of the lymph needing to do it's job of expelling toxins.
I LOVE Lavilin deodorant cream. It works as a deodorant for days. Only problem is it's hard to find but you can get it from NOW Foods Market. They also sell their own version for much less that I have to try and see if it works as well:

I've been using Mitchum Clear Gel (Shower Fresh) for five years. Love it. Clean scent, great protection, and no residue.

I was just about to test this one next! I feel a little strange using a gel (feels so wet and sticky when you first put them on), but if it works I am willing to put up with the wet and stickiness!
Thanks Casper's Mum! |
