Seriously, I so regret buying a pack of these.

I used one on Monday, the scent was disgusting, it smelled nice as a ball, but in the tub it became this old lady perfume (same intensity too). It even had sparkles in it and little bits of glossy plastic...wonderful.

After draining the tub, the tub was pink! Awesome lol...so after cleaning the tub, it still STANK of old lady perfume. It's been 2 days and the bathroom REEKS of it, when I take a shower I get dizzy because it's so thick and odorous.

Relaxing my butt!

I completely agree Lush Bathbombs are awful. I bought a couple and the scent smeleed good in dry form when you put in the bath you get this weird smell and it doesn't help the bathtub either a nd its pretty overpriced too!!

I've been adding milk powder yes the one you put in your coffee to my baths and my skin is soft and moisturized!!

I hate these too!
I tried one a few years ago, made this wonderful bath, had some candles, etc to relax, stepped in the bath, sat in there for about 5 mins and my whole body started tingling, got itchy, then red, and then started stinging!
It was the lush bath bomb!
I had to drain the bath immediately and take a cold shower to soothe my skin.

Isn't this an organic line that's supposed to be really good for you? Thanks for saving me some $$ edenfield

Mmm, I used to love them, but they have become worse in time.
I have had some bathbombs that hardly frizz anymore, which spoiled the bathing fun.

Oh, you are so right. They are terrible! A friend got me Lush's Black Pearl Bath Bomb for X-mas. It stained my bathtub dark purple. It was awful. I spent an hour after my bath scrubbing the tub with comet to remove all traces of it. So much for relaxing! Sad

P.S., I keep getting Lush stuff as presents, and I've never liked any of them! I'm not even going to try them out any more. Straight in the garbage they go.

Their store at Metrotown mall is near the food court. When the store was opening there (ten years ago), a special ventilation system was installed, so that the smell of the store wouldn't conflict with food court odours.

Their Kitsilano store (West 4th Ave, between Yew & Vine Streets, Vancouver) always has their door open. At times, I've been walking on 4th/Vine or 4th/Yew, and I can smell Lush products halfway down the street.

Gross.

I solely buy Lush as gifts for other people, and not because I hate them because they're CUTE to look at and smell, but not to use!

Edenfield, please do not take this the wrong way, but giving them as gifts when you know how awful they are is not a nice thing to do. There are cute, smell-good things out there that are actually good to use and will not cause harm or aggravation.

I found it strange that Edenfield hates them but readily gives them as gift, hm...

And BTW, I like some of those bath bombs, especially Ceridwyn's Cauldron, which is definitely not drying and has a smooth scent.

I've always been skeeved out by these. Not only are they chock-full of synthetic fragrances and colors, but I just hate when they include *crap* like glitter, stars, plastic whatevers. I even got one (FREE gift with purchase, NOT by choice) that contained pieces of candy. Specifically, candy letters. An "Alphabet Bomb" or something. Whatever. I don't want to bathe in HFCC and corn starch!

Anywho, I've never thought much of their line -- not as "natural" as they claim to be, and I'm kind of grossed out by the slabs/bowls of product they have just sitting out in the open getting contaminated. The only product of theirs I use is a deodorant that comes in a big slab, and when I buy some, it's always got hair and sometimes glitter on it from who knows what else. Greeeeeat!

haha...I love how you said it still smells like old lady. I hate products that smell one way in the store in the bottle/packaging, and that completely different when you use them. What a nightmare.
