I just saw a blurb in a magazine about Atralin. It said, "a totally new kind of retinoid that's FDA approved for the treatment of acne. Dermatologists are excited about Atralin because it's the first medication to contain .05% tretinoin along with moisturizing ingredients to help counteract the dryness, peeling and irritation often experienced with retinoids"
Anyone know anything about this product or how it woudl be different from Retin-a Micro? Is it the percentage of tretinoin or a better anti-irritation vehicle?
Thanks.

I've seen the info on Atralin...have an appointment next week with my dermatologist. I'll see what she has to say and post then!
Less drying would be a good thing!

V,
Please do post if you end up using it!!! Would love the option of a less irritating retinoid.

Just thought I'd check in to see if 'oncloudten' or others have tried Atralin yet and if so how is it? |

I use this product and love it! I had to use it consistently to get through the red, dry period, but after that, it works great. It takes about a month to get through the initial dryness. My doctor just gave me samples, so I haven't had to fill a prescription until today. It cost $45. Not too bad to have clear skin. I use it with a Benzoil Peroxide wash and benzaclin too. They all work great together. Love the wash the best. Worth the try if you're questioning. |
