for my mature but very oily skin? I just received my Matis Flash Lift serum and realized I'm going to need to follow it with a balm or creme that will enhance the lifting properties of the serum.
I'm very interested in the Decleor balms but can't decide between the Iris Balm or the Essential Balm. Is the Iris Balm very oily? What good things has everyone noticed between these two balms? |

Let me just say that these Night Balms are excellent.
As for the Iris, it has no effect on firming or lifting. but It does hydrate your skin.
I have used the Essential Balm on my oily skin and i alternate with the ylang ylang some nights. It's not too oily.
If you are looking for daytime use, try Vitaroma Lift Total face Cream |

Sounds like the essental balm is what I would want. Is the Ylang Ylang a moisturizer for oily skin too? I know it helps clarify to from the posts I read on the mua board. Thanks for your help |

I think it would really be a toss-up between the Essential and the Ylang Ylang. The Essential Balm is supposed to be suitable for all skin types and it helps if you have congested skin. The Ylang Ylang is supposed to be specifically for oilier skin types as it purifies but also is supposed to help regulate oil production. |

I use the Ylang Ylang balm once a week instead of the oil. I have extremely oily skin and it has helped. Not dramatically, but I can tell everyday my oil production is less and less. hth |

A lot of people with oily skin like the Ylang Ylang because it's supposed to regulate your oil production. Maybe alternate the Ylang Ylang with the Essential Balm? |
