I am looking for a new eyemakeup remover that doesn't take off a bunch of eyelashes at the same time! I don't wear waterproof mascara so that is not an issue.

Have you tried just using oils to remove eye makeup?
Whenever I do wear any eye makeup, I just massage a bit of jojoba oil straight onto my eye area or pour some on a cotton pad and wipe away the makeup. Its cheap and easy Wink

Maybelline waterproof eye makeup remover works for me - and I wear extremely budgeproof eye makeup (I have very oily lids).

I just use jojoba oil on a cotton pad. It works better for me than any makeup remover I have ever purchased.

I know of others who just use plain old olive oil and say it works great.

If you find one, let me know. The best I've used is Chanel's (with the dual phase) but it's very pricey for an eye makeup remover!

I've used the Body Shop's chamomile eye makeup remover for years. It's effective and affordable.

Sonia Kasak's REMOVE, available at Target for $10 is very similar to Lancome's Bi-facil, both good.

Lancome and Vincent Longo, both good.
Use both.

Years ago, Mary Kay's was also good. (have no clue if they have changed the formula or not)

Either Ponds Cold Cream or plain Aqueous Cream. Both do a good job of removing eye makeup. The Ponds Cold Cream does a better job at removing waterproof mascara than the aqueous cream, but as I don't normally use waterproof mascara, the aqueous cream is fine. I simply wet my face with warm water, massage the aqueous cream all over, including eyes, wipe off with a warm wet washcloth, then apply a tiny bit more of the cream to my eye area if there is any more makeup left, massage gently, wipe off gently with the washcloth and then splash my face a few times with with warm water. One cream to do everything, leaving me clean without being stripped, all at a very cheap price. When I used Ponds, I used the same method as I do now with the aqueous cream.

Also I've used oil as an eye makeup remover, but found it made my sight murky (temporarily) if any oil got onto the eyeball, but Ponds or Aqueous cream don't seem to do that.

Bioderma is good for the whole face and even stubborn waterproof mascara. Very clean and no oily residue. It will not dry out the areas around the eyes.

Usually when I returned home from work, the first is to remove the makeup and go straight to prepare dinner. Without applying eye cream immediately after the cleansing, my eye contours still feel moisturised.

I definetly side with Yeahyeah on the usage of oils as makeup remover. I have tried many different makeup removers and am always frustrated that not all of the makeup comes off. I always come back to using Hydropholic Oil which is a cleanser + makeup remover in one. I have a huge bottle of it in my bathroom and use it twice a day!!!!

When I wear a lot of eye makeup (which isn't all that often) I use Lancome's Bi facil.

I like Estee Lauder Take it Away make up remover, and Lacome Bi-Facil Double Action is great too. Both are a bit pricey.

Vaseline works great for mascara and eyeliner too...and its way cheap.

I normally use Kissme mascara so I don't need a remover, but if I use a non-waterproof one I use Rimmel makeup remover and Almay makeup remover pads for waterproof mascara (anything oil-based would work for tough mascaras)

This is probably really bad but I just use cetaphil. It takes off my eye make up perfectly and I also get to keep my lashes in the process.

Another vote for Lancome's Bi-facil. I have tried Cetaphil which is OK but does not remove all the eye make up as thoroughly as Lancome.

I've used both oils and ponds cold cream to remove eye make up for several months. I don't know if it's related but I've experienced a lump on my eyelid with swelling and tenderness which goes away after a few days. I looked it up on the internet and think it's clogged sweat glands in the eyelid. I've had this 3 times and I don't know if it's connected to oily cleansing since it didn't start right after I changed to oil, but I've just stopped this method to see if this all stops. Only time will tell.

Prior to this I used Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Make-up Remover and have returned to this because I did like it before.

Don't use Almay's moisturizing eyemakeup remover liquid. It stings my eyes. I tried it and it doesn't remove some mascaras.

Yesterday, I read that those who wear waterproof makeup should choose oil-based eye makeup removers while those who don't can choose either.

I have the same issue. Would you mind sharing what eye makeup you use?

ELF makup remover cloths. I use only waterproof mascara and they do a good job removing that and whatever else might be on my face any particular day. I have quite sensitive skin and these do not seem to irritate it. Can't remember the price but it is ELF, well known for a tiny pricetag.
