I want to get that glowy look that all the stars seem to have. I have tried mineral versions - MAD satin glow (little effect that I could see) and flash glo(which was too glittery). I want to glow not glitter or shine- it looks almost pearly. Although I like minerals any suggestions for products would be welcome!
Thanks

Smile

pips, I would suggest Jane Iredale Moonglow. It's a subtle shimmery glow with real gold flakes in it. It's not glittery but it does make an impact. I wore it to an event and people commented all night about my skin. They sell it on EDS.

I use NCN Mineral Sheer Tint. It's mineral based, gives a nice dewy finish plus it has an SPF of 20.

I love Vichy tinted moisturizer, it give me a fresh faced glow that is light and natural. I think I have heard through MUA that Vichy is only available in Canada

I mix a little Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder (the white shade) into my MMU whenever I'm going out at night. Got this tip from one of the other members here. Creates a really nice effect, not sparkly, but just adds a little "glow". I have quite pale skin though, so not sure how this will work for darker skin tones.

Becca makes some awesome glowing powders. Also, a lot of mineral makeup companies make really good glowing powders, such as meowcosmetics and mineralboutique.

I'm not sure if you are looking for "glowy" as in slightly pearlescent or "dewy" as in not matte or dry looking. If it's dewy you want, I recommend Chanel Vitalumiere foundation.

How about Lumiere Luminesse? Its supposed to be like BE but without the bismuth which can be irritating to some skins. The price is great too!

NARS Albatross highlighter. Pure glow, no glitter. Rather than settling into tiny lines it actually blurs them.

I like Aromaleigh Divine Radiance...gives that glowy look without glitter or sparkles. My favorite is magnolia blossom:

Second on the albatross blush- a little placed high on forehead, across tops of cheekbones and inner corner of each eye - really brightens things up - not obvious, but obvious!

Hi Pips and Lucyluc...yes Moonglow is more of a bronzer than a foundation, but if you've got an even skintone (either naturally or through a light powder foundation) it's a great way to add a "glow" to your look. It's been around for a long time and is an award-winning product used by celebs and always in beauty magazines.

Apologies, am a lil' dense... Embarassed
Should moonglow be mix together with MMU base, or applied separately on top like a finishing powder?

I put it on top of my MMU base (JI pressed base). It wouldn't really show up otherwise. It's a pressed powder, so you can just dust it on top, with a blush brush type brush, or a kabuki.

I have found foundations like Armanis Luminous Silk Foundation and Becca's Luminous Skin Foundation give a nice dewy look.

I really like Becca's Pressed Shimmer Powders - they are great subtle highlighters that give light to the face without the obvious glitter (I don't like a lot glitter on the face). The powders also come in several shades, depending on the look you want.
