We get this show in Canada and I've been watching it faithfully every week but we're behind the US!!

I was really disappointed christian won -his line was monotonous and unwearable. I don't get that the judges were constantly on Chris's case for "costume" designs when Christian's designs are so over the top that the only way you can wear them is at a costume party. And the judges always accused Rami for being a "one-note" when Christian basically designs the same thing over and over again. How many skinny bottoms with ruffled tops did we see this season?
Overall, I actually liked Rami's line the best; that second optical dress was magnificant and I would have worn many of his designs. Next was Jillian; her knits were astounding, innovatative and I would have worn many of her clothes as well.
That the judges chose Christian as the winner really eludes me; likely Victoria Beckham had a lot to do with this decision. Her fashion asthetic is similar to Christian, although she's hardly a fashion icon. I've seen a lot more misses from her than hits. |
