I thought I would ask all you professional woman an important question that still continues to stump me. I use my cleanser and other face products on my neck and chest area reliously, but why am I breaking out there? It is not like it is all of a sudden, it has been happening for a while. I cleanse and treat that area, just ask I would my face...but it does seem maybe "sweaty" (sorry don't mean to grose you all out Embarassed ) but maybe that oil/or sweat build up is causing the breakouts?? But I don't sweat on my neck? Any other ladies with this problem? Or am I a freak? (:

My neck started to break out a couple years ago and I had to change all my hair products (shampoo, conditioner, glossglaze) For some reason, my skin started reacting badly to dimethicone. You might want to try switching hair products to see if that helps.

Don't know if this would be a factor in chest breakouts though.

I had also heard that neck/chest breakouts were hormonally caused -- never could quite nail that one down nor solve for it. But there is some indication that breakouts in different parts of the body have different causes.

Could it be your laundry detergent? I have fewer breakouts on the body ever since I switched to liquid laundry detergent.

I frequently have breakouts along my jawline and neck...the main culprits in my case are touching them when thinking and my shampoo.
