| Has anyone tried Olay total Effects lotion and does it work. OR is there another product simailr to it that will help with pores,lines,drak spots/pigment,skin tone |

Hi! Ive used it and it made my skin dry and break out (i have combo skin), my mum has tried it and its no good for her either (she has oily skin), my boyfriend used it and he hated it, made his skin itchy (he too has oily skin), so finally his mum used it and she developed red rashes on her face (she's got oily sensitive skin), so that bottle went straight into the bin! 
but a girlfriend of mine loves it, so i guess it depends on your skin, there might have been something in it that triggered an allergy in the 4 of us, no other moisturiser did that besides the Olay though.
But i love the idea of having an all in one moisturiser! |

Hi Indiant-
I have used it and didn't get a reaction like Em's people did but I really did not see any results. It was similar to using a regular moisturizer. |

I've recently purchased the Total Effects Night Firming Cream. I quite like it. I have combo skin and it doesn't make me break out. I wouldn't say it is highly moisturising but I quite like that as I don't like having a lot of oil on my face at night. I do think it is helping with the pores on my cheeks which are quite large.
This product has had really good reviews on makeupalley.

Em,
It may be the ingredient niacinamide(Vit B3) that is causing an itchy, allergic reaction to you and your family. I have not used olay products, but do use a product with niacinamide with no problems or reactions. I have read that niacianamide is a high irritant on many ppl. It's great for lightening and evening skin tones though. |

Fairlyfair, thanx for that  have written it down for future skincare purchases! i never ever look at the ingredients list, should start from now on. |

| I bought the big bottle for the body as Paula Begoun said it had the same ingredients as the face product! I haven't tried it yet, soon! |
