Bought microfiber cloths from target (car isle) last night and THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE TIP!!! I have enough to use a new one each day AND they are bigger! It never occured to me that they are the same thing....and the care ones are so soft!
Yippie...I love saving money! I got 12 for $6 |

I've also tried the cheaper microfiber clothes from the automotive section at Target and was pretty disappointed. The texture of these clothes isn't the same as PSF microfiber cloths; they didn't seem to grip or remove makeup like PSF. I've since relegated them to back to my cleaning rag basket and will use them for cleaning the car. Meanwhile, plan to stock up on enough PSF cloths to use one clean cloth every single time, which means I need enough for 2 per day. |

Okay, I'm piggybacking on Olivia's thread, because I just got a new order that's almost entirely PSF, too! This is a VERY preliminary impression as I haven't even gone to bed yet, haha. But I just used my new products in my PM routine, and so far I'm in love.
The Green Tea Cleanser is awesome -- I've been tentatively on the hunt for something better to use with my Clarisonic, and this seems to fit the bill. It's nice and gentle and moisturizing like my old Burt's Bees Orange Essence cleanser, but it's much less greasy and it doesn't sting my eyes like the BB does. And I never minded the greasy texture of BB on my often-parched skin, but I hated how much it stuck in my Clarisonic bristles -- not at all a problem with the new PSF, and it still provides excellent slip and cleansing. AND, it comes in a HUGE pump bottle -- so it actually works out to be cheaper than the BB, which I didn't expect!
The R&R toner is a delight! First of all, I'm glad it comes in a spray bottle, because I prefer to spray toner on instead of using a cotton pad. Second, the cucumber scent is lovely -- so refreshing and cooling! I wasn't sure anything could convince me to leave behind my deliciously pineapple-vanilla smelling MyChelle Fruit Enzyme Mist spray-on toner, but this stuff might hook me (and it's actually cheaper!!!!). I think this might make me switch!
The ALA lotion is nice, though I do find the bottle annoying in that it squirts stuff all over. I love that it starts out oily but seems to sink into dewy and moist but not greasy. I love using straight oil on my skin instead of moisturizer, but I'm not thrilled with the feeling that can produce, and this sort of seems like the best of both worlds. It *does* warn on their website that this is not for oily or acne-prone skin, so we'll see -- but my skin is acne-prone yet often dry, so I'm hoping it'll drink up all that squalane without breaking out. Time will tell, I guess -- but again, this stuff is surprisingly cheap!
...Aaanyway, the dear boyfriend is stumbling off to bed calling to me to feed the kitty, who's winding around my ankles hungrily. So this is all the PSF twittering I get to do for now... but thanks Olivia for inspiring me to do an almost-entirely PSF order with my recent free gift certificate winnings! So far so good! Can't wait to test out the acne mud mask, too... |
