i have found over the years that my legs seem to tan very last and my stomach is bronze in about an hour. my legs may take a week. my friend believes this is my imagination while i think that maybe it's possible some of us have our melanin distributed differently through different parts of the body.
can anybody verify any of this information for me? thanks so much. |

That happens to me to. I have quite a mixed background. My tum and back are natually browner and are quite a dark olive colour but all the places it shows, face, legs, arms are very pale and are more a pale olive or just pale with yellow undertones.
When I try to get a tan I get a really bronze back and tum but it takes absolutely ages for the rest to tan and it never catches up. I would say I definatly have different levels of menalin. |

I believe that this is true. I'm the same way my face, arms, butt and legs are pale or light but my stomache and back to lower back tans.I've overexposed my skin there to sunlight and pregnancy and its taking a while to fade. I think its strange, somtimes I just want one full color instead of two tones. So what color would I naturally be then??? hmmmm.... |
