Normally, I tend to be rather sceptical when it comes to trying products from unfamiliar brands, but this time, I definitely don't regret it! 
I won a 50CAD gift certificate, and bought the set with Phytomer Face Dew/Rose visage and the Hydration Reinforcement Cream, and I absolutely LOVE the duo!!!
My skin has been behaving in a very strange way lately, maybe because of the change of season. My summertime moisturizer, Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream, no longer seemed to do the trick, but my super-rich Decleor Nutri-Delice Ultranourishing Cream was too much.
But now, I am super satisfied! The Hydration Reinforcement Cream is thick, smells lovely, and given a few minutes, disappears completely, to leave behind a moisturized, glowing skin. And the effect lasts!
Highly recommended to the dryskinned among you! |

Ditto on that! I love Phytomer products, for anyone who wants to trial the Rose Visage and Hydration Reinforcement creme, there's a duo special on EDS right now.. great deal. Think it's about $78 CAN?? I just bought it and can't wait until the package arrives. |

Hi Nemi and Freckles,
Glad to have found some more fans of Phytomer products !! I'm a total nut for Phytomer ever since coming across this line by chance on a shopping trip in Paris. Like you, I'd never heard of the brand and a bit sceptical but thanks to the friendly coaxing from the sales lady in Printemps (who had amazing looking radiant skin may I add), my guts told me to try  who knows you might end up with good skin like the person selling... I love Phytomer, and compared to the brands I used to buy from beauty salons (MD, Demalogica, Murad) these products completely changed and opened up a complexion I didn't think I had. I love the Hydration Reinforcement and the Extended Youth Night Cream  , they are like spa treatments for dry/ combination skin like mine. The day cream just seems to make your skin look better and better as the day wears on, feels great with or without makeup (I wear a few layers before I step outside). The night cream is like a beauty wrap for your face you put on before bed and somehow the delicious scent just sends you to the land of nod with a smile on your face, you wake up looking so well, youthful, with glowing skin like a baby's .
I'm jumping in and getting the duo special (it's $CAD75) and also got to have their Contour Lift Eye cream which has become a staple, it's a cream/ gel formula and it's so hydrating for this delicate area. I use it mainly at night as it doesn't have an SPF, and works like a beauty mask for eyes. No lines, no sensitivity, no milia, just comfy, smooth and cared-for eye area. 
Hope you're liking the cream ! Do you like the smell of the Phytomer Rose Visage Face Dew ? I'm thinking of dispensing it into a spray bottle so I can cart it round and use it as a hydrator/ reviver

I love the Face Dew, and actually also the smell, though I'm normally no fan of roses (I'm a freak, I KNOW!  )
My skin is acting a bit irritated at the moment, and the Face Dew makes it normal again. The cream also feels wonderful, although I've got a suspicion it's the reason for my skin's strange behaviour (see skincare forum). Hopefully, it's not... |

(To my fellow Phytomer fans)
I just got my package today from EDS.. of course in it is, what else, but Phytomer products. I am giddy just from opening the boxes. Picture a kid on christmas day.. :lol:
I also use the Contour Eye Creme at nite because of the lack of SPF. I wish they would come out with an eyecream with sun protection...

If you have dry skin, the Oenage (sp?) Mask is great, think it's also known as the Revitalizing Mask.. little beads you rub into your skin, makes mine glow. |

I love opening my packages from EDS and I'm even more excited for the girls when they receive theirs !!! Someone described they were giggling like a schoolgirl when they were processing their order, that's me too !!! 
I would really love it if Phytomer brought out a version of the Contour Lift eye cream with SPF, I really think this is the best one I've used, at least for night time.
I've not yet tried Phytomer's masks (I was going to get two in my last order and was going to get the Revitalising Mask but I got sidetracked in a huge way and didn't place it), will give it a try !! Have you tried their exfoliator, Peeling Vegetal ? I love it, cream that you apply like a thin layered mask then after it dries you roll it off, it's great.

I am just so happy as what arrived today sitting on my bed when I got home... my order from EDS!! I'm seriously thinking the ladies there at EDS are flying these parcels out by jet as there could have been no way that anything can get to Australia from Canada in 5 days!
I am in and there's no denying that EDS has started my * spam alert * for skincare but they do it ever so gently, someone had generously popped in a box of baby-size Phytomer Face Dew, Vegetal Exfoliant, Moisture Quench Mask and Hydracontinue Day cream so looking forward to trying the Phytomer products that haven't found their way into my bathroom yet.

What ingredients are in a phytomer product? I keep hearing about them, but can't quite figure out what they are. I know that phyto usually refers to a plant substance.

I know that Phytomer contains algae from the sea but I wanted to check the site to bring up what Phytomer products are actually composed of, but it's been updated it and there's no longer an English version (it's all in French) and Google doesn't translate it  Check it out for yourself...

I checked through old posts and found this info:
Phytomer products contain concentrations of algae derived elements -- there are 4 leading active agents from the algae that they harvest. They found that certain algae were perfectly resistant to the aggressions of the sun while others devoured toxins, compositions of the protective membrane of the seaweeds in their skincare provides the skin a means of defense, protection and of similar régénération.
I really love the smell of these products as they subtly remind me of the sea (the creams are a faint green in colour and are so nice to wear). My day cream is like a time release moisturiser. Put simply, Phytomer has seaweed in it, great stuff that keeps skin in top health. I also eat a lot of the stuff, and on occasions make the delicious sweet that Babyfish gave me the recipe for clear, bright eyes. |

After a while, I stopped using the Hydra Continue, because the smell was bothering my nose. However, a couple of days ago, I dug it out again, and now I suddenly can't get enough of it. My winterdry skin seems to drink it up, and it gives a nice glow!
The Rose Dew has also become a staple, and I use it sometimes when I'm too lazy to use an ordinary cleanser.
I will definitely repurchase, but now, Christmas is upon us, and the shipping would probably take ages.... |
