I was reading a blog on Kim Kardashian...i love the way her makeup looks...and she says she uses
Make Up Forever Liquid Foundation(liquid lift)

Its kind of pricey...so i thought i would see if any of my experts over here have tried it..or have any input on it..

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I haven't tried that particular foundation, but I have tried other MakeUp Forever foundations and concealers...in my opinion, they feel like stage makeup, so that's probably why she looks good on camera, but in real life I image she looks like she has pounds of makeup on. The line does conceal quite well, but it feels like you're wearing a mask of makeup.

You could always go to sephora and ask for a sample and try it out for a few days.

Yea, I don't think I could go back to liquid foundations now that i've grown to love mineral makeup, and airbrush foundation. Liquid foundation feels soo unnatural and heavy. Definitely not good for the summer!

Hows the airbrush foundation working out for you? I saw an infomercial on it and it sounded great. I just wasn't too sure. I love MMU, and have grown so used to the way that feels. I have moments where I feel like it doesn't provide enough coverage.

I really love the dior products. So i use the airflash. I just spray a Z on my face lasts 1 second..and i get an EXCELLENT coverage. If i want more i just spray a second time! I also use the dior primer which is cream to powder foundation but in translucent. My mother that it's her 60's has quite a few lines and even this works great on her. She always looks soo much younger when i use this stuff on her! Foundation just makes her look cakey.

I have mineral make up..and while i like it...i feel it actually makes the lines on my face worse...like it accents them or something....

with foundation..if I get like a dewy one...it seems to help cover those better..

I have never seen or read about the airbrush stuff...you said dior makes it??

Id have to try that...

Will sephora give me a sample of the makeup to try? Ive usually only ordered online from them...but there is an actual store here...Ive just not been in it..lol

Just go into sephora and ask them to use it on you and see how it looks! They wouldn't have samples since it's in an airbrush aerosol can. You need a primer before you put any foundation on ESPECIALLY if you have large pores or lines. It's annoying but it goes on 10 times better. My mother has tons of lines and it makes her look super when i use a primer first then the spray foundation. I have yet to find a liquid foundation worth my time.

As far as Bare minerals go..I only had it done on my at Nordstroms..but it was too much work for my taste LOL. I liked it but i prefer the airbrush because it's faster lol!

I use two difference primers...one is from clinique...which i think does the best for me...and the other is smashbox...which is good too.....

I've used the Makeup Forever Lift makeup last year. It covers very well, I didn't see any lift to my skin. But it did cover my rosacea very well. I think the color was off a little I used the number 2 color. I needed between a 1 and 2. I pretty sure Sephora will give you a generous sample.

I have been using mineral powder for almost 3 years now and I can't imagine going back to liquid foundation either. It feels natural and light and I received a lot of compliments from people, tool. I think it even improved my skin.

Just checked the sephora website...and i was surprised that there weren't any in BC!!

Calgary, Chinook
Calgary, Market Mall
Edmonton, West Edmonton
Mississauga
Scarborough
Toronto, Bloor Street
Toronto, Eaton Centre
Toronto, Yorkdale

I think sephora are adding locations in quebec and ottawa too...maybe you'll get one out there too!

Makeup For Ever has a wonderful powder foundation. I quit wearing mineral makeup because I like it so much. It's Makeup For Evers Duo Mat Powder Foundation. It's matte but not to matte and it's not cakey at all. The finish looks like my skin, flawless and refined. I think I have about 6 compacts of this makeup. I don't ever want to be without. If you get a chance try it at Sephora. I sometimes use a light dusting of MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural mineral powder over it for a slight glow.
