I recently fell and cut my knee cap real bad and left a nasty pink scar after a month. while shaving, I put some force into it and by the next day I was shocked. most of it lightened and some parts of it returned to its original fair skinned color. I noticed the same results when shaving my face with a good shaving cream. it actually did help old ascne scars vanish.
anyone else have any success doing this? |

I think when it is done medically it's called "dermaplaning". It is indeed supposed to reduce scars. I haven't tried it myself but there have been a few threads on it here if you want to do a search. |

I don't think so, but maybe after shaving, you can use home microdermabrasion. I found shaving my hair made the hair come back darker and so I stay away from shaving my legs and try waxing instead. |

It's a form of exfoliation, so it could work. |
